Dresta called the rest of my family and told them that I was at Cedars-Sinai. He didn't tell Ren, Cube, Dre, and Yella so for now, they still have no idea. My parents got here before everyone else. After dad saw me laying in the hospital bed, he stepped out. I guess he just couldn't see me like this. But one thing is for sure, my mom was here. She grabbed a chair and sat next to my bed.
She didn't say anything. She just kept looking at me and started to shake her head.
"What's going on Eric?" she asked with her heartbroken.
"How did you find out?" I asked.
"Your friend called me," she replied.
"Mom, I have something that I need to tell you."
"Okay well tell me then," she said.
"The doctors told me I have what Magic Johnson has."
She paused for a few seconds then said "so you mean to tell me you have-"
I interrupted and said "HIV."
