I flew to New York because I had to settle a deal with Sony. It's cold as hell in New York too. I forgot that every city aint hot all year like LA. I found out that Cube was going to be at a nightclub down here called The Tunnel.
Since we're both down here at the same time,
I decided to stop by and holler at him. I aint spoke to Cube in years. I'm tired of beefing and losing my friends over stupid shit.

I arrived at The Tunnel with Bone Thugs. Everyone was showing me so much love. "Yo what's up E?" "EAZY!" "What's good E? Welcome to New York baby!" "Eazy-E!"

Everyone was trying to get my attention at the same time. I didn't want to be rude and ignore them but I can't talk to all of them. It's way too many people screaming my name so I just gave them all the peace sign. I continued to walk through the club and saw Cube sitting down at a table by hisself having a drink.

I tried to get closer to him but his bodyguards blocked me.

"Aye man I'm Eazy-E. I aint spoke to Cube in years, I just want to know if I can holler at him for a minute," I told the guards.

"What do you want E?" Cube asked.

"I'm in here with Bone Thugs and I heard that you was going to be at The Tunnel tonight and since I'm here in New York, I thought I would stop by and speak to you."

Cube then got up and told his guards to let me through. We walked towards each other and I started the conversation.

"So I saw Boyz N the Hood, and it was good."

"You saw the after school special?" he asked.

"I like after school specials Cube and you know that."

Cube tried to keep a straight face but failed. He laughed and said "I missed you man. What's been up?"

"Just been working my ass off, I never have time to live now," I said.

We sat down at Cube's table and continued
our conversation.

"I see you done lost a lot of weight E," he said as he looked at me.

"I know and it's bullshit. So what you been up to Cube? Congrats on your new albums."

"Thanks man. I heard about your new music and the new artists that you're signing so congrats to you too. And I'm into acting now. I just finished filming my new movie called Friday and it's going to be released next year in April. It's gonna be funny as shit E you should go see it when it comes out. I got five solo albums under my belt including my EP that I released in 1990. But aye, how did you go from slanging dope to eating dinner at the White House?"

"I'm still trying to figure that shit out," I said while laughing.

I looked down at his hand and noticed a ring on the fourth finger of his left hand. Also known as the wedding ring finger.

"Aye man explain that big ass rock on your finger," I said while smiling.

"Oh I forgot to tell you E, I married my girlfriend Kim back in 92. We have four kids together, two boys and two girls. She just had my youngest girl Karima in February and my oldest son is a junior. He's also the first born. I heard about Aaliyah giving birth to your youngest son last year, congrats Eazy."

"Man I never thought that I would see you get married and settle down Cube. Show me a picture of your wife and kids."

He grabbed his wallet and pulled out pictures of his family.

"Here's my wife Kim. And these are my kids. That's O'Shea Junior, Karima, Deja, and Darrel," he said while pointing at the pictures.

"The world is spinning too fast. I still remember when we became N.W.A. back in 87 and how I was tripping when yall made me record Boyz-n-the-Hood," I said while smiling.

"I was just telling my wife the same thing. She showed me our Straight Outta Compton music video a few weeks ago and it brought back memories. We had some good times together E. And yeah you was freaking out when we got you in the studio for the first time but look at you now. I still remember when we was harassed by the punk ass police in front of our studio and when we got arrested in Detroit."

"Shit I remember when we first heard your No Vaseline record. You had us butt hurt but I aint gone lie, that shit was dope. You really got us good Cube. But I just wish this beef shit never happened between us," I added.

"We should have never dissed each other in the first place," he said.

"Nah but we attacked you first and you just responded. Just like what went down between me and Dre."

"So you and Dre still aint cool?"

"Nah and I aint tripping about it. But you know what I was thinking? N.W.A. should get back together. All of us. I know our fans miss our music, we recorded some dope ass tracks back in the day. We was really a team Cube."

Cube had a sour look on his face. He made it seem like an N.W.A. reunion is a bad idea but then his facial expression changed.

"I'm down with that E, lets do it. But I just got one suggestion. Now I dont know your relationship with dude, but if you want to do this Jerry gotta go."

I nodded my head. "You're right, I feel you."
