Jackie's POV

At Garth's unveiling of the name, my heart once again felt as if a knife was stabbed right through it. I feel my breath get caught in my throat, but unlike all the other times its happened in the past two days, I don't allow tears to form in my eyes.

Instead of feeling helpless, I take this whole situation into consideration. I can figure out who did this to my dad, maybe even my mom. And I'm not just going to throw this opportunity away.

I get up abruptly and grab my laptop that sits in my backpack below the window sill. Turning it on, I immediately start research. But unlike all of the other times I've done research, this time I'm actually putting my heart into my findings.

The boys must understand what I'm doing because Sam also grabs his laptop and loads it up, while Dean and Bobby continue to interrogate Garth on what all he knows.

I hardly pay attention to what I'm doing, but within a minute I have several news articles up, my eyes skimming through each and every one of them.

In the background, I hear Garth's voice through the receiver again. "Have I met this guy before? Ya know, the name sounds sorta familiar."

Dean and Bobby had already informed Garth that Tim was a hunter, but that's about it. I don't think Garth is very good at making connections, since at the name Tim Kaiser, hunters automatically make the connection to his daughter, me.

"Well, he's got a daughter," Bobby states.

I glance over to him as he talks. At this point, I don't really care what all Garth knows, as long as he tells us everything he knows. I return back to my laptop, skimming through yet another account of the news story.

"Aw hell, no. You're saying that's Jackie Kaiser's father?" I roll my eyes at his exclamation.

Bobby briefly tells Garth who exactly my father was, which in the end leaves Garth silent for a moment on the other end of the receiver. "She's with y'all right now? That's balls. She's like.... aw hell no. What's she look like? Is she hot?"

As that, I give my full attention to the phone conversation instead of my laptop. Even Sam had stopped his research.

I see Bobby give the receiver a dirty look, while Dean gives it once of his 'bitch faces,' lips pursed and everything. Sam however, looks like he's about to crack up.

"Oh yeah," I say standing up and carrying my laptop to Bobby's desk where his phone rests. "She's great. And not interested."

I set my laptop down and wait for his response. Obviously he wasn't expecting me to answer because he silent for a good fifteen seconds. During his silence, I reach for one of Bobby's note pads and write down the phone number I had found for Faulkton's local police department. With what I'm planning, we'll definitely need it.

Bobby clears his throat, hoping to get Garth alive on the line.

"That was her, wasn't it," he says in a low voice. I roll my eyes then mouth an 'Oh my God' to Dean and walk back to my spot on the couch with the notepad and my laptop. "Nice accent," he comments.

"Oh my god," I mutter. How is this guy a hunter?

The first seven years of my life, I lived in Germany, and I guess I never truly lost the accent. Mine was never as thick as my dad's of course, but you can tell its there. I guess learning how to talk in a place with one of the world's thickest accents wasn't a great idea. Along with the fact that I pretty much grew up only around my dad's accent, and I guess you speak like others around you.
