Jackie's POV
As soon as Dean pulls out onto the road, leaving behind the dusty, gravel road that leads to Bobby's, I reach down to my feet and pull a cardboard box full of cassette tapes onto my lap.
"Let's get this party started," I tell Dean as he gives me a questioning look.
He smirks. I think he's happy that he is able to drive and listen to his music without someone, cough cough, Sam, complaining. I say that if you're going to be driving for hours, you have to do it the right way.
I shuffle through the countless artists then stop once I come across an old AC/DC cassette. Smiling, I immediately put it in and once Dean hears the first beat of the track, he turns it up.
Personally, I never thought that Dean an I would become as close as we are now when I first saw him. I mean, he isn't the most friendly looking I'll admit, but I never thought I would get to know the Winchester, who has literaly back from hell, so closely. For some reason, I find joy in the fact that the Winchesters aren't who they were made to be by the world, and more importantly my father.
About an hour in to the drive, we sit in a comfortable silence after discussing our favorite bands. Yes, I'm an adult, so is Dean, but we gotta live somehow.
It's now completely dark out even though its only about six, but the night begins to come earlier and earlier as winter approaches. The road ahead of us is clear, with no other cars in sight, and only lit by the dim headlights of the impala.
Now that I think about it, it dawns on me how much I love this car. It's a classic, and for a car owned by a hunter of all people, its in fantastic condition.
"So where'd you get your car?" I ask Dean.
Dean, the most proud car owner I've ever met, smiles and nods at my interest in Baby. "It was my dad's."
I smile at the thought. Dean's father must have been so proud of Sam and Dean both. And for Dean to take such good care of his car, I feel as if Dean keeps his father alive by having the impala.
"I have an old pick up truck that my dad stole from a guy who was flirting with me in Chicago bar once. I guess you win in the 'coolest car' category."
Dean laughs that laugh that is contagious, making me laugh along with him. "He just stole that truck? And left town?"
"Well, no, he left a note in the parking space. I don't know what it said but I guarantee the guy is now gay and will never talk to another girl. He has his way of getting to people."
"Jackie, remind me to never get on your dad's bad side. Or let me know if I am because if I ever have to leave the country I'd like to make arrangements first."
"If you were on his bad side, you'd know, believe me."
As we continue down the winding country roads, we only pass a few cars. Pretty soon, the impala's headlights light up a small, green sign, saying "Welcome to Faulkton."
And I am officially back home. To my real home.

Dean's POV
"Hey, Jackie?" I ask.
"Hm?" I glance over at her, and see her leaning her head on the seat belt, looking out the window as the flickering lights of fire flies whiz by.
"If you ever want to join Sam and I hunting, if your dad isn't better any time soon or something, you're welcome to."
To be honest, I never could have seen myself inviting someone to go hunting with Sam and I, but Jackie is different. She's Jackie Kaiser, the one everyone has heard and talked so much about. I guess it just makes sense that the famous Winchesters hunt with the famous Kaiser.
