"ashton?"

luke came to a sudden halt when seeing the familiar curly haired boy standing in front of his door. after coming home from a long day of work, he wanted to lay down, and the last think he would have thought is to see ashton. he remembered receiving a text from him just the other day. if he would have known ignoring him would cause him to show up here, luke would have said something earlier.

"hey, luke," ashton had a welcoming smile, "how are you?"

luke tried to act civil, tried to act like it wasn't completely outrages to show up at someone's house uninvited. especially when luke had no idea how the boy had any idea where he lived.

"I've been better," luke approached ashton slowly, taking short strides.

ashton's smile faded as he sighed, "I'm sure you're wondering why I'm here. I just wanted to talk to you."

luke didn't want to talk. he didn't want ashton to get the wrong impression. he was to much of a nice person to tell ashton to leave. he would end up feeling bad, no matter how badly he wanted him to leave so no talking would be necessary.

luke bit on the inside of his cheek, shoving his hands into his front pockets. he leaned up against the wall when he was right in front of ashton.

"how do you know where I live?" luke questions.

"calum told me, he said it would be a good idea if I stopped by to chat with you."

luke was already thinking of ways to yell at his best friend later. he didn't like the idea of calum telling people where he lived. anyone could show up here unexpectedly.

"well, you said you wanted to talk, so talk," luke offers, wanting to get this over with so he could go inside.

ashton runs his fingers through the curls on his head, "I have a deadline on how much longer I have to finish a story. if I don't finish it in time, they won't be very happy with me."

luke's eyebrows creased together, "why are you telling me this?"

ashton chuckles, and luke has no clue as to why he is laughing. he remains stood where he is, his lips set in a thin line as he waits for an answer that he could care less about.

"remember when I told you that you could possibly be my inspiration one day? well that day is today, I need you to inspire me."

ashton has a hint of optimistic in his voice, the way he speaks. luke doesn't like it, he also does not like when ashton steps closer to him, the gap between them closing slowly.

"don't you have other people to inspire you?" luke creases his eyebrows together, his arm sliding against the wall as he takes a few steps backwards to avoid the possibility of ashton trying anything.

"yes," a noticeable smirk appears on ashton's lips, "but i prefer you."

luke couldn't quite understand why this was happening. he didn't want to be in this situation. he didn't know how ashton was planning on making luke his inspiration, but he didn't want to know.

"I don't want to be your inspiration," luke tells him, his voice sharp and serious.

the smirk on ashton's lips doesn't fade as he speaks, "you might want to reconsider. after all, I do know about your affair with a minor," luke's eyes widen and he feels as if he's about to be sick as ashton stood there, a satisfied look on his face, "I also know he happens to be your student. don't try denying it, it's no use."

luke could feel the whole room spinning. he felt dizzy and lightheaded. out of all people, he wonders how ashton knows. not his best friend, his family.

he can feel his knees growing weaker, feeling like he was going to collapse. a sickening feeling rises in him.

"what do you want, ashton?" luke's voice sounds weak, which only makes ashton grow more powerful over him.

ashton reaches out, the back of his hand brushing over luke's cheek, "one night, just you and me. I get to do whatever I want with you, and you can't refuse. if you don't agree, I'll go straight to the police and let them know the situation you got yourself into."

luke's jaw tightens and his hands clench. this couldn't be happening to him. he felt like he was going to have a breakdown. he could form any kind of words to come out. the only thing he wanted to say was no, but he knew it wasn't an option.

"you have until tomorrow to give me an answer, if I don't get one, I'm going to the police," ashton informs, a smug smile on his face, "have a nice day."
