I laid out the dress back on my bed, along with my other undergarments , ready to change into after my quick forty-five minute shower.

Still in my bathrobe, I was halfway done blow drying my hair , when I finally decided to check my phone, which had been blowing up with notifications.

There was a text from Erick:

Erick: Hola Princesa. Just wanted to say that no matter what happens, no matter how bad things seem, eres mia *ur mine* and that my heart only wants you and only you.❤️

What could he mean by "no matter how bad things seem?"

Me: Don't worry I'm pretty sure you'll make the last five bae 🙈❤️

Erick : aww u just called me bae. MAMI IM SO HAPPY I COULD JUMP OFF A BRIDGE!!!

I finished getting ready as I listened to Twenty Øne Pilots, Ride.

I looked at my reflection in the bathroom mirror one last time, I didn't usually wear a lot of make up, but tonight I'd gone for the Blue Smokey Eye look, which blended perfectly with the Sapphire blue dress, and my long silver earrings, as my dark brown hair cascaded down my shoulders in long curls.

I took a pic sticking my tongue out, and sent it to Jayson.

Me: Bruhhhh

Jayson:  MAKE UP ON POINT 👌😜OMFG MY BABY'S GROWING UP TOO FAST :')

Me: HAHAHA STFU😂😂😂

Jayson: For reals tho, u don't actually look like a four yr old did ur make up! 🌚😂

Me : I'm so nervous 😭😭😭

Me: bc Yoyo's making me choose between him and Erick tonight.

Joel: hey Shorty...ok so there's something I gotta tell u. But I can't

Me: What??? DIME*tell me*

Joel : all Imma say is that, it's not good. But I'd rather u find out when u get here.

Me: DID SOMEONE DIE??? DO U HAVE HIV ? SIDA? WHAT IS IT?
