Chapter 16- What we going to call her?

Chapter 16

I woke up to the sound of the shower going in the next room, Joe must already be up. Why do I have to get up I am so comfy, I am snuggled under the duvet with the hot water bottle against me, even though it is August it is still cold outside, its a miserable, wet day and I am feeling it a lot.

"Goodmorning beautiful" Joe said coming out of the bathroom "you still up for going to see Zalfie's today" he asks rubbing my head.

"Of course I am" I said sitting up in the bed "we need to do this" today we are going to ask Zoe and Alfie to be the baby's godparents, I know they will say yes but I don't know why I am still so nervous to ask them. I got out of the bed and went into the bathroom, instantly feeling the cold, I jumped in the shower cleaning my body and rubbing the oil zoe got me for my bump to help with the stretch marks. As I stepped out of the shower I dried myself and put my underwear on, turning to the side and looking at my massive bump in the mirror, I am official 7 months today, which means that my due day is 2 months today, that is really scary to think about!

I got dressed and we were ready to go within half and hour, it was 10:30 and we said we were going to Zalfie's at 11, we were defiantly going to be there in time, we are making a massive lunch for everyone with pancakes, waffles, fruit, bacon, sausages, yogurt and much more.

We arrived at Zalfie's and Joe rang the gate bell so that they know we are here, Alfie answered "Yello guys, come on in, just careful coz the person is here to fix the front door" Joe drove up to the house and Zoe was stood with Nala in her arms waving.

We climbed out the car and walked into the house, "Alfrado" I said moving closer to him with my arms open, however my bump got in the way and we ended up clashing into each other "em... er" was all I could say as we try to hug "nope not gunna happen is it?" I said laughing moving away.

"Here" he said turning me around and hugging my from behind "I can't not hug my best friend every time I see her" I said kissing my forehead, some people think that it is weird that we act like this, hugging from behind, kissing foreheads and some times we even link arms when walking but that's just who we are, we are just that close, come on we have know each other since we were tiny, we may have gone out before and yes we conceived a baby and all that but we don't see it that way.

"So guys want to have lunch now?" Zoe asked as we walked into the  kitchen.

"Hell yeah, I am starving" Joe said from the floor as he plays fetch with Nala.

We all started cooking different things, I was cutting strawberries, grapes and other fruit, Zoe was making her amazing pancakes, Alf making waffles and Joe well Joe was still playing with Nala on the floor. He is going to make an amazing dad!

Once everything was cooked and cut, we all sat down at the table we Zoe candles lit in the middle which set the mood nicely, I knew this was the time we should ask them and I think Joe got that too as he grabbed my hand under the table and squeezed it "so guys we have something we need to talk to you about" Joe said looking at Zoe and Alfie.  

"What's up Broseph" Zoe said with her famous smile.

"So we were wondering if... em... if you two would do us a massive favour" I said looking between Zalfie and Joe "would you be our little ones Godparents" I said taking a massive deep breath, finally go that out. Both of them looked at each other with massive smiles on their faces.

"Of course we will, we would be delighted too" Alfie said standing up to give us hugs and guess what they couldn't hug me again, this bump gets in the way too much these days.

"Hey do you even have a name yet?" Zoe asked as we started tucking into the food.

"We haven't really, we have a few picked out, such as Emma, Sarah, Sophie and Isabel. We just cant quite decide what to pick, we want to have a set one before she is born and then some back up ones just in case she doesn't look like a Emma for example" I said rubbing my bump.

"I like the name Isabel" Alfie said.

"I picked that one" Joe said raising his hand.

"I have to admit, I have really started to like that name, I was thinking of Isabel Rose" I said.

"OMG that's so cute, what you doing about last name" Zoe said.

"We are use going to use Young-Sugg" Joe said looking at me then Zoe. I nodded my head before looking at Joe to make sure he was now eating and winked at Zoe, I think she got the picture, I actually just want it to be Sugg but I am going to surprise him with that at the birth, I want to see his reaction.

"I can't wait to meet my niece" Alf said, as we all tucked into our food.

"Has your Mam got everything sorted from tomorrow Zo?" I said after finishing my food.

"My Mum has yes, I love how you say Mam still, its cute" she said laughing. In the north east we all say Mam not Mum, and I guess it has still rubbed off on me.

Tomorrow we are going for a BBQ with Zoe and Joe's Mam, Grandparents, auntie and uncles, cousins and everyone's dogs, there is like 4 dogs in that one family.

I can't wait to meet everyone, I have met their mam a few times but not their grandparents, Joe has been to tell them about us but I was out with Alfie's family that day so I couldn't go.
