Chapter 17- Awww Zalfie!

Chapter 17

Today we are all going to Zoe and Joe's grandparents for a BBQ, I am nervous but really really excited. Alfie is planning something really big for today too, HE IS GOING TO PROPOSE TO ZOE! I am so excited, Zalfie forever and I am going to be the one to vlog the whole thing with Alfie's camera.

Last week we went to buy a ring, it is this beautiful big silver ring with a massive diamond on the top, it is just the right size for Zoe petite hand.  He got it in this beautiful red velvet box shaped like a heart, it has all tied together perfectly, he went and ask Graham for his blessing about a month ago and we told Tracy last week what was going to happen and she was so pleased to hear about it.

We were all just going in one car as it was so much easier so then Joe and Alfie can actually have a drink and Zoe doesn't mind doing the driving as if I am honest I haven't seen Alfie drive in months (remember we are saying he passed his test years ago not just on Friday) and they are letting me drive anyway, I got my car back last month after it was finally brought down from Newcastle but it has sat in the parking space that it was put in for me since it was delivered.

We arrived at the Suggs and Joe came and helped me out of the car, we were met my Tracy who ran up to her daughter giving her a massive hug then turning to Joe "well you just get more handsome by the day" she said ruffling his hair.

"Mum man, I am a man now, I am going to me a dad in 2 months" he said pointing to the bump.

"My god 2 months! You are about to pop Megan" she said trying to hug me "you look beautiful and you Mr Deyes, well you are just so handsome too"

"Mum have you been drinking already" Joe said laughing at his mother.

"Just a little bit... ok a lot" she said "your auntie got here early and she was complaining about everything, the food, the décor and so much more. She is trying to kill me"

"Come on Mum we are here now, lets just go through and you can just sit and talk to us" Zoe said pushing her Mum to front door.

Hours went by and everyone was talking, I had met so many people, Joe's family were the best there were so caring and nice and they understood everything about us.  Alfie had started getting fidgety so I decided I should go over and take him inside to talk to him "Alf come with me" I said rubbing his arm walking into the kitchen were no-one was "you ready?" he just nodded "you better not be having second thoughts"

"Jesus Christ no I am just super nervous, what if she says no, what if Joe freaks I haven't spoke to him yet!" He said starting to freak out.

"Ok Alf breath please just breath, she I deffo going to say yes and Joe will not freak out he loves you like a brother" I said rubbing the top of his neck "right breath and lets do this, give me this camera and go" I said taking his camera and turning it on "right guys it time for the main event" I said getting all excited and giddy.

"Zoe can I talk to you, em over here I think" Alfie said pulling her into the middle of the garden where everyone could see and hear "I was going to do this massive speech to you and everything but I don't see the point anymore as you know everything I was going to say anyway" he said holding her hand reaching into his pocket and his eyes widened... where's the ring? "Meg?" he said turning to me.

"I don't have it" I said from behind the camera. Where the hell is ring? I started looking in my pockets and everything then I heard footsteps from beside me and Nala came running past with a bow round her neck and... the ring... who did she? "found it" Joe said coming beside me.

"How did you... never mind, tell me later" I said.

"I heard you earlier"

"Aww thank you Nala... and Joe" Alfie said smiling "So Zoe Elizabeth Sugg..." he got down on one knee "would you marry me?" he said and we all waited.

"OMG YES YES OF COURSE I WILL!" Zoe said jumping up and down, Alfie slide the ring on and jumped up hugging Zoe, kissing her all over the face. We all cheered and hugged each other "you knew all along didn't you" she said turning to me.

"Oh yes I did, babes I picked the ring" I said with a smile behind the camera "so guys if you think that was really cute leave a comment below and hit the like button, next clip will probs be back to Alfie, love yas" I said blowing a kiss to the camera. 

What an amazing day, for the rest of it we all laughed, smiled and some even cried looking at old photos. We drove home in the dark and I fell asleep on the way, waking up when we were back at out flat. I went straight to bed as I was so tired from the amazing day!
