Chapter 21- Home time

Chapter 21

We finally get to go home, me and Izzy were discharged an hour ago, in the mean time I have showered and made myself look a bit more respectable just in case someone sees us on our way home. Joe went home earlier to put the car seat in the car so that Izzy can have her first ride in daddy's car, he still has his Audi TT but I have drove in about a year and Joe isn't on my insurance yet so they one way was to get a seat that fits in his car, believe me it was difficult!

"OMG she looks so cute" Joe said as I was strapping Izzy into her car seat, she was in a pink baby grow that had little butterflies on, she looked adorable. I had put a little pink hat on her as its a bit windy outside and cant get her getting cold, she was also wrapped in the blanket that Amanda knitted her, it was white with a lot of little bits of detail on.  "All ready to go my girls?"

"I think so" I said as he kissed me. I love this, our cute little family.

"Right well its time to go girls, I am going to start the vlog is that ok?" he asked looking at me as he picked up Izzy's seat.

"Yeah sure babe" I said with a smile, I told me last night that I want to be like the Sacconejoly's, he doesn't need to ask permission to vlog her or anything like that.

We walked down the corridor of the hospital towards the exit, as we walk out I expect there to be loads of viewers outside but there wasn't, they must actually be giving us some space. As we reached the car I just stood laughing at Joe as he attempted to get the seat in the back of the car without knocking it. "Yes did it" he said jumping out the way to let me in the front "we are getting me on your insurance, and we are going to get you driving again coz that is far to difficult" all I could do was laugh at him as he got in the car. "now lets get home"

At home

As we pulled up at the flat all I could think about was my comfy bed, those hospital beds are horrible. I climbed out of the car and let Joe get Izzy, she was still sound asleep, she is so adorable. We got into the lift and pressed the button for our floor, soon it was moving up. I had out bags and Joe had Izzy and his camera out talking to it about us being home almost and he couldn't wait for a proper seat on the sofa instead of the car next to my bed. The doors opened and it took the keys out of Joe's hand, unlocking the door and opening it...

"Welcome home!" is all I heard when I walked into the flat.

"OH MY GOD" i started to cry, I love my friends so much.

"Awww Meg, sorry we didn't mean to make you cry" Zoe said running up to me.

"No no no its happy tears" I said wiping my eyes, realising I was still stood in the door way of the flat and Joe and Izzy was still outside, "everyone meet Isabel Rose" I said moving out of the way to let Joe in.

"Awww she is adorable" Tanya said

Joe placed Izzy on the table in her seat so that everyone can see her

"You guys can adore her, feed her, you can even change her I will be her" I said laughing as i sat down on the sofa.

"Can I get her out?" Jim said "I will be careful I swear"

"Jim you wont break her, just mind her head" I said as Tanya stood laughing.

The day went on perfectly everyone got their own hold of Izzy, Zoe fed her for the first time and Alfie changed her nappy, I KNOW HE CHANGED A NAPPY. He has stopped worrying about Lola and replacing her, after the talk we had in the hospital he as come to the fact that as Isabel's godfather and favourite uncle he needs to hold her and do his bit, quoted from Zoe!

"So who is her other godparents" Caspar asked from the kitchen as he god everyone another drink.

"We don't really know yet, obvs we have Zoe and Alfie but I don't have any siblings and no-one else really close apart from Alf so we were thinking Poppy and Sean" I said looking over to them, Poppy's eyes lit up and they almost jumped into my lap.

"OMG yes of course we will" Sean said like a little girl. 

"Well I have always said that Poppy was the sister I never had and well Sean is like the brother i never had he was been there that long too" I said smiling at them.

"That's so cute, especially as they aren't like proper related by blood you have chose them because you know they will always be there" Tanya said from Jim's lap.

"Hey the next step is marriage" Marcus said nudging Joe in the side. I just looked at the floor and went red, that's all I have thought about the last few days.

"They need to have sex first" Alfie said slapping his hand over his mouth.

"ALFIE" me and Joe said in sync.   

"Wait you's haven't done it" Marcus said in shout "HOW?"

"We... you know... she was pregnant with another mans baby it was just weird" Joe said looking very embarrassed. "I also didn't want to her the baby"

"That's kinda cute" Naomi said "stop bulling him Mark" she said prodding Marcus in the side.

"But seriously though guys... marriage?" Alf said looking at us.

"Maybe in time guys come its only been... Jesus its been 8 months" I said looking at Joe and he starting counting on his fingers.

"Jesus Christ" he said with realisation.

Everyone left later and Izzy slept quite a lot of the time she only woke up when she needed a bottle or nappy changed, Joe has really taken to the role of daddy very well and very quickly, he is feeding her and changing her a lot more than I am if I am honest.

I love this little family of mine.
