Chapter 1- Finally home!

Chapter 1

"Ladies and gentleman the next stop is Brighton, that's the next stop is Brighton" FINALLY! I can't wait to get back home where I really should be, yes Newcastle is amazing and everything but come on this is where I grew up.

My names Megan, Megan Young, I am 22 years old. I am coming home from university in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne technically that is my home as that is where I was born and lived for 3 years of my life but we moved to Brighton so my dad could carry on his job as a business man.

As I step off the train the rain gets heavier, oh how I have missed this place and its bad weather. I look around for my best friend of 19 years, he was stood against his car waving like a crazy man with massive smile on his face. I ran towards him and he wrapped me in one of his unique bear hugs, god these haven't changed. "I have missed you so much smelly!" he said to me putting my suit case into the boot of his car. I climbed into the passenger side at the front as he got into the drivers. "Well Mr Dayes we have a lot to catch up on now that I am home for the foreseeable future" I said to him putting my seatbelt on as he pulled away from the train station. Oh yes sorry I forgot to say my best friend of 19 years is Alfie Dayes aka Pointlessblog on Youtube, we met at primary school when I moved to Brighton and has been inseparable from then. We spend every minute of every day at school and at home, I became very close with his big sister Poppy too.

We arrived at his house and a unfamiliar car was sat outside of it but in some way I did recognise, Alfie must have saw my looking at it with a confused look as he jumped in with "oh yeah sorry I forgot to mention that Zoe and Joe are here today, Zoe heard that you were coming home and wanted to meet you and Joe thought he would come a join as we are quite close" I looked at him nervously then realised what he said Joe... Joe Sugg... oh lord. "So you mean Joe Sugg aka Thatcherjoe is sat in your house somewhere?" I asked looking at him, he gave me a sort of "yes and?" look then realised why I was asking "does little Meg have a crush on one Joe Sugg?" I just looked away from him and got out of the car.

As we walked towards the door I remembered what he had said, Zoe is in here to that means I am going to meet his girlfriend, now we all know that some girlfriends don't like it if their boyfriends best friend is a girl so I started to get very very anxious as I didn't knw if she approved of the whole thing then a hand went on my shoulder and I turned around as Alfie said "oh and by the way Zoe is completely fine that you are my best friend I know we had a few bad times in the past with it but not Zoe she thinks its all cute and everything" at this point I had a big sigh of relief as I was happy she was before I even spoke to her.

Alfie unlocked and opened the door pointing a hand to tell me to enter. I stepped in and immediately I felt like I was home, nothing had changed after about 10 years, Amanda (Alfies mam) had changed nothing apart from the candles on the cabinet. I heard talking the kitchen so I headed that way, the door was slightly open and I could see Alfie parents and two people I knew from the internet sat around the kitchen table playing cards. I opened the door a bit more so that I could walk in and as soon as I did everyone's heads shot towards me, Amanda stood up straight away and ran towards me "Megan oh lord you haven't changed at all have you, you are still as pretty as when we saw you leave at the train station. How as uni?" I just stood laughing she was like my mother, infact she has been a better mother than my own she was actually there for me when I needed a mam whereas my own was always so busy with work or other family matters "uni was amazing a bit boring and I missed home like crazy. Just so happy I am home and can spend every day like I used to all those years ago."

Alfie entered the room after bringing all my bags in, he walked over to the girl at the table and I took notice as to who it was... Zoe I walked over as I thought that was the best time too. "Hi" I said to he and her brother, Alfie but his hand on my back and said "guys this is my all-time best friend Megan" Zoe smiled at me and stood up from her little wooden chair at the table "very nice to finally meet you, I'm Zoe and this is my little brother Joe" the hunk stood up from his chair to come and shake my hand, so I thought he hugged me! Oh lord Joe Sugg just hugged me! Meg man came your tits.

"Guys we are going for a walk on the beach as it has stopped raining want to come?" Alfie asked from the kitchen door to me and Joe as we were sat talking in the kitchen while Amanda cooked "sure I would love to I have missed just being able to walk out of my house and walked onto the pier or sand" I said standing up and walking over to the door, I heard foot steps behind me following me close behind. I guessed it was Joe coming too.

On the beach

"So Meg tell about yourself" Zoe said as we sat on the pebbles waiting for the boys to come back with ice creams. We sat and told her about me moving here and how I met Alfie. "Here was go ladies 99s for all" Joe said as they returned for the ice cream man. I took mine off Joe as he sat down next to me on the rocks.

We sat for the next hour just chatting and catching up with everyone as if we had all been friends for years.
