Chapter 30 - Joe and Caspar Hit the Road

Chapter 30

Tonight is Joe and Caspar Hit the Road premier; I have to say that I am quite nervous about it as I have never been on a red carpet and I can tell that there is going to be a lot of fans shouting my name. I know I have done stage shows and everything like that but in them they all go quiet after a while but tonight they won’t.

Joe left to go to London this morning as they have a few interviews before it all starts tonight so at the minute it is just me and Isabelle playing in our flat. I enjoy these times where we just sit on the floor and she attempts to throw her different coloured balls to me and they end up going behind her and she bursts into fits of laughter. Later on we are heading over to Zoe and Alfie’s where we will all drive up to London in Zoe’s mini as we are staying in a hotel overnight for easiness.

After about another hour I decide it is probably time that I go and pack all of our stuff, I grab Izzy’s nappy bag to check that everything is in there and put in anything that is missing. Izzy is staying at Alfie’s parents tonight so that we could all go even though they were also invited but decided that they would babysit for we didn’t have to worry about her. They are amazing when it comes to her, even though she isn’t their actually granddaughter they treat her like one which I think is amazing and sweet.

I drop Izzy off at Amanda and Nicks then head up to London with Zoe and Alfie. I took a lot longer than it normal does and I think that was because everyone is trying to get there to see Joe and Caspar as most of the cars had parents driving their teenage daughters, we did get spotted a few times which was funny as the looks on the girls faces were priceless it turned from confused to OMG in the space of 30 seconds.

When we finally arrived at the hotel that we are staying at tonight, we split up into our rooms to get ready but I and Zoe agreed to meet up again in half an hour to check everything is god enough for the red carpet. I decided to go for a gold long dress that stretched down to the floor, it shimmered when the light hit it. I curled my hair and put the front up into a loose plait.

When we were ready we walked out into the lobby to see that a limo was waiting for us out the front door. We climbed into it and the driver drove us to the venue. I could feel my nerves building up inside as we got closer to the venue and could hear all the screaming. As we got closer I could see all the crowd gathered around the red carpet, Zoe must have noticed that I was getting very nervous so she scooted across the chair a little bit so that she could grab my hand “remember we will be there too if you need us just shout one us will come running” she said so calmly which made we feel better.

The car stopped and the driver opened the door, everyone knows that Zoe and Alfie will be in the car as it has a big “A-Z” on the side, Joe’s touch of course, but they won’t know I am in here so Zoe and Alfie get out first and wave to everyone. The door closes to make everyone think everyone is out but then it opened again so I could step out, the screams got so much louder and Zalfie sandwiched me between them so people could get some good photos.

We were then scooted up the carpet to the camper van so that more photos could be taken. Zoe and Alfie went first then they asked me to go on my own so I stood in front of Katie the camper, as I was about to leave I saw someone running out the corner of my eye and when I looked it was Joe running towards me. I took me in his arms and gave me a massive hug and kiss, cameras were flashing everywhere and the screams rowed around us. “I have to get to Jim to do my interview.”

I walked up towards Jim and he gave me a massive smile and wave “Well hello there” he said pulling me onto the little stage.

“Evening” I said.

“So everyone we have Miss Megan Young here, aka Joe’s girlfriend, aka Mrs Sugg as many people are calling her at the minute. So Meg how you enjoying her first time on a red carpet”

“It’s scary having all of these people looking at me and watching me on the internet but other than that it is amazing” I said with a smile.

“It can be scary but you get used to it. So you have seen the film already haven’t you?” he asked.

“Ohhhh yes but I saw the version that was about 3 hours long, believe me you don’t want to see that much of them two arguing and trying to decide exactly what they are meant to say” I said laughing as I could see Joe and Caspar trying to take to stupidest photos ever.

“I take it you liked it then, well the proper version that is. What was it like when Joe was away all the time doing promo and photoshoots?”

“Difficult especially when Izzy was just a tiny baby but we got through it and he made sure that when he was there he helped in everything he could especially with housework and food shopping.”

After my little interview with Jim I joined everyone on the red carpet again and then it was time to go into the cinema to watch the film. The boys did a little speech to thank everyone that helped them with the film and everyone for coming on their special day. The film started and I knew how it was going to start so I started laughing before everyone else making people look at me weirdly. Joe turned around knowing that it was me laughing and what I was laughing at, finally everyone was laughing with me now so I didn’t sound stupid anymore.

Once the film had finished, which was amazing by the way, everyone went back to the hotel we were stay at as there was a reception that was being held there for the boys. Everyone had some food and drinks and had a good laugh with everyone, me and Joe ended up sitting in the corner talking for hours we hadn’t even realised that everyone else had left until I went to get another drink. So we head up to our room and had a nice relaxing bath together, something we haven’t done in so long as every time we go to Izzy starts crying or wants to join.

Tonight was amazing and I am so proud of my little Joseph and Casp, they have come so far from being just two lads making videos in their bedroom and now they have a film for everyone to see.
