A/N: I am a bit confused as to what order and how far apart things were last year, so I am just making everything up as I go with dates and spaces apart. I have a feeling that UNSERNAME:EVIE launch was a lot closer to the Joe and Caspar Hit the Road premier but on well! Anyway enjoy :)
Chapter 15
Today is Joe's book launch for UNSERNAME:EVIE, he has so excited and so am I to be honest he has worked so hard on this book. That is basically all he has been doing since I met him, if he is not making videos he has been writing and drawing this book, it is amazing I have to say I have already read it as Joe has two hard copies and a proper copy.
We are at the penthouse venue where the launch will be held in about an hour, we are here for Joe to get a bit of a photo shoot before everyone else arrives.
"Megan come here, I want one with you too" Joe shouts as I look through twitter on my phone. I stand up and walk over to where he is stood with a cardboard photo frame, I go behind it and we pose for the photos. For one he turns me to the side and puts he hands on my bump and kisses my cheek, I can so tell that this boy loves me and this unborn child.
The room looked amazing there was books everywhere and cardboard cut outs of the characters from the book which can be a bit scary if you turn around and there is just one there looking at you.
Today will be the first day I will meet a lot of Joe's school friends from back home, which I am a bit 50/50 about, I am excited to meet them as they are the people that made Joe the person he is but also these are the people who grew up with Joe and know Joe a lot better than I do so they may judge me for making it look like I know him so well. However I will get to see Youtubers that I haven't seen in a few weeks since Vidcon, especially the ones who stayed in America or went somewhere else on holiday such as Caspar who went home to South Africa.
There was only 5 minutes till they will open the doors and allow everyone in, some people are already downstairs or just waiting in the corridor as I could hear them talking, Dom and Joe were just going over his speech ones more so that he knew exactly what he was going to say and Dom knew what to say too. Joe went over to the bar tenders and spoke to them about something that I couldn't hear then come back over to where I was stood next to the door to greet everyone as they came in.
The doors were opened and the first person to walk in was Zoe... no surprise there, she is sort of important so she should be allowed first. Everyone flooded into the room, we greeted loads of people then we could go back to talking to people individually.
"Hi guys" I said to Joe camera as he asked me to vlog for him as he knew that he would either forget or get so busy talking to other people so I said that I would do it for him "so everyone is here now, we have Zoe, Alfie, Tanya, Jim, Caspar, Marcus, Naomi and many many more" I said and turned off the camera. "Right Zoe you are going to recap me on names of his friends from home, he has told me before but you know what I am like, I have the worst memory in the world" I said to them and they all started laughing.
Zoe recapped me on names so then I took myself over and introduced myself to them and got them to do a little clip for Joe to see on his editing, I know he likes little clips like this.
Everything was going well, everyone seems to be having fun. Everyone from Zoe and Joe's childhood were catching up and taking photos with the frame and props, I was just sat on the little sofa that was in the middle of the room, being almost 7 months pregnant it was pretty tiring being on your feet all the time.
"Hey babe, you ok?" Joe asked coming and sitting next to me putting a hand on my thigh.
"Yeah I'm good just tired" I said with a smile.
"Do you want to go home" he asked.
"Jesus no of course not, Zoe just keeps bringing me more drinks and people are coming to me to talk to me, I am fine here" I said sorting out the little flick his hair suddenly hand "anyway I am updating everyone on Snapchat what's going on and I have done like an hours worth of vlog for you"
"Your amazing do you know that" I said kissing my forehead and rubbing my large bump.
"Well I do try" I said laughing.
The end of the night
"well guys I hope you enjoyed Meg taking over my vlog today, it may be very unedited as we have a busy couple of days a head but I will get it up as soon as I can" Joe said "I love you all and remember I am not a daily vlogger" he said into the camera.
"OH YES HE IS" I shouted from the bathroom hoping he hadn't turned the camera off just yet. He came into the bathroom, luckily without the camera as I was just in underwear "Oh I am now am I?" he said with a smirk, I knew what that meant... tickle fight.
I ran into the bedroom as fast as I could being 7 month pregnant, and out the door into the nursery, picking up the mickey mouse and shoving it into his face "No no no no no, not today, you are not ticking her today" I said making it sound like mickey is saying it, all Joe could do was laugh and walk away shaking his head.
We always find a way to make each other laugh.
