Chapter 18- Baby shower

Chapter 18
A/n this is wrote through my tablet so there coukd be hundreds of spelling and grammar mastakes as I am the worst at typing on this thing!

"Walk forward, keep going, almost there" Zoe said to me as I was blindfoldered walking through her livingroom... I think "ok and open". I take off the blindfold and infront of me was all ofmy friends and family, well Alfie and Joe's, Jim, Tanya, Marcus, Niomi, Joe, Alfie, Poppy, Shaun, Chai, Holly, Maddy, Tracey, Graeham, Amanda, Nick, Dom, Caspar, Gabby and obviously Zoe. She had arranged a baby shower for me, however we were allowing the boys to come to as... well my best friend in thewhole wild world is a boy so it would be a bit unfair if he couldn't come.

There was presents, food, banners, music and even a tower off cupcakes which I am guessing is the cake as I have always said that the traditional baby shower cakes, you know the ones that are shaped like a baby, are really wrong because you are basically cutting up a baby and eating jt, its just a bit weitd in my eyes but if any women wants that thats fine with me I just personally domt like it.

"Ok lets do the exciting but first, presents!" Alfie shouted from the other side of the room. Th thing is I have like everything I need, like a cot, car seat x2 (one for my caranx one for Joe's car, it was just easier that way), pushchair and everyhthing like that so god knows what I am going to get.

We all sat down in a massive circle in the living room, and all the presents were in the middle. I picked up a pink bag that said baby girl "thats ours" said Tanya, I opened it up and it was a little pink bunny rabbit that said born in 2015.

"Omg its adorable, thanks guys" I said with a massive smile on my face.

Next was off Marcus and Niomi (they are still together in this dont hate me plz), it was 3 pink dummies which are always handy and some bibs also very handy.

The presents went on and on, there was more soft toys, bibs and dummies but also babygrows and vests, hats and mittins. But personally I think the best presents were off Zoe and Alfie, they were white babygrows but they had had them personalised one said "I could have been famous but my dads Joe Sugg" on the front but on the back it said "however my uncle in Alfie Deyes which I thought was hilarious until I pulled out the next one "I could habe been famous but my mum isn't Tanya Burr" and on the back it said "however my auntie is Zoe Sugg". Again that is pretty funny but come on I am sorta internet famous... aren't I?

Anyway after the presents we did the cake... well cupcake cutting and everyone was having a fab time however Alfie seemed very on edge, he wasnt his normal jolly self so I decided to go over and talk to him "Alf you ok? You just seem very on edge and well quite down if I am honest" I said looking at bim straight in the eyes.

"Actually I need to speak to you then I will be fine, just wait here a minute. Actaully meet me in the nook outside I will be 2 mins" he said getting up off the soca and walking upstairs. I did as he asked and went to the nook outside, Joe didnt seem tk ask any questions he just wemt with it, maybe he knows what he needs to talk to me about. I sat down very slowly into the cusions with my 8 months bump really starting to get on my nerves, soon after Alfie walked out closing the doors behind him so that Nala couldn't get out.

"Alf whats wrong" I asked as he said down very shaking.

"I didnt want to do this today as its your shower and everything but I havent seen you in like a week and you are literally going to pop any second so we wont have time after that, but I need to ask you something, its about my new book, you know the scrapbook thing" he said and I nodded "well I want to do a page dedicated to... em... to Lola" he looked me dead in th eyes, I had a feeling this was going to come up one day, why wouldn't he want to write about his first child even if she didnt survive.

"Of coirse you can Alf, you dont need my permission she was your daughter too" I said putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Thats not the full reason I asked you out here, these are" he said pulling out some photos from his jumper. I couldnt contain myself, one was the last ultrasound we had before she past and the other was the only photo we have of her, it was taken only 30 minutes before she past, she was wires in every part of her body and a little pink knitted hat on.

"Where did you... I didnt know you still had these" I said trying to stop sobbing, I wiped my eyes and picking up the ultrasound, I remember having it, we were so happy that she was healthy and happy but only 2 weeks later everything went down hill.

"Of course I still have them, the ultrasound was in a frame on my beside table until I started going out with Zoe then I thought it waa only right to move it really so it wss on my desk, I have literallt only just taken it out of the frame to bring it down here, it now lives on my bedside table again but I just make sure it is out of video shot" he said smiling at me "and the other came from my mums she has one framed as you know as you have probably seen it in the living room and that one is a copy of it so that I could have one and she was going to do you one but she didnt know if you already had one."

"No I dont have one, I think I would like one though for the flat so that Isabel always has her big sis near by coz she isnt going to know that she has a big sis bit she is in heaven" he said rubbing my bump. "So you wanting to put these in the book" I asked finally stopling crying.

"If thats ok with you, coz like when made the video with Joe about the baby and everything I wanted to do the same but a massive confession about Lola buf k couldnt bring myself to do it, k was to scared so I decided that if I do it in the book once its at the publishers I cant chicken out. So you ok with it? I will let you read the whole part before I send it away" he said looking like he was going to cry himself.

"Of course it is, I have her hospital bracelet if you want to try and get that in somehow too" I said smiling at him and he just nodded, he seriously looks like his is going to burst into tears "hey you know you can cry if you need too" I said and he must shock his head, I dont think he has cried ones about I yet, deffo not when I have been with him he has always tried to stay strong for me. "Come on lets go back inside" he both stood up and I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek to tell him that I was fine and we re joined the party.

Everyone went home back 7 after literally everyone got little instagram photos or blog photos with me and the bump, even Nala got her own photos for Zoe's blog.

Today was amazing, just cant wait for this one to come out was all I could think as I feel asleep.
