Reader sees a spider and Tadashi has to take care of it.

---

You had invited your boyfriend, Tadashi over to your place. Once he arrived, you both decided to watch some television. Flipping through the channels, you found a movie on that you both particularly enjoyed. He grabbed onto the soft throw-blanket he bought for you awhile back, covering both him and you under it. He had an arm wrapped around your shoulders, and in turn, you had an arm draped across his waist. The warmth radiating from his body made you feel so calm. In turn, he was enjoying your company. He snuck glances at you while the movie was on, smiling whenever your face lit up. What he didn't know was that you could see him doing this in the corner of your eye which made your face turn a light shade of pink.

When the next commercial break hit, you excused yourself to use the bathroom. You wanted to get back fast too; Tadashi's warmth was starting to wear off and you were getting cold. As you went to turn to walk down the hall, your eyes wandered to the floor, catching the sight of something on the ground. You did a double take; there in front of your eyes was a spider. You froze in place, taking in all its features. All eight of its legs were thick and long. Its body was round, fuzzy and plump. The sight began to make a chill crawl up your spine. You went to scream, but in turned more into a panicked gasp that caught your breath as you were still staring at it.

This immediately had Tadashi's heart racing. He looked over at you, seeing the frightened look washed over on your face. "(Y/N), what's wrong?" He asked, sitting up.

Your mind was screaming the word spider over and over again, but your lips couldn't make the word come out. You took a step back on the top of your toes, pointing a shaky finger down to the floor. Another nervous intake of air escaped from you. "Th-there's a huuuge spider on the floor!" You shrieked still pointing at it. As terrified as you were by the rather large arachnid, you couldn't stop looking at it.

A warm hand pressed against your shoulder. Turning your head, you saw Tadashi, who made a disgusted face at the creature. "Go get your vacuum," he instructed. Rushing over to the hall closet, you heard him breathe out an 'oh wow'. He wasn't exactly fond of spiders either, but he handled them better than you.

You were quick to yank the cord off and get it plugged into the outlet. Within that next second, Tadashi had turned your vacuum cleaner on, grabbing the hose. All you could do was listen to your vacuum vroom until it was turned off. Tadashi rolled it over to you with a proud smile beaming on his face. "All taken care of," he announced. A part of you just had to make sure the spider was, in fact, sucked up and inside the container. You looked inside with a flashlight; soon enough you found the critter who appeared to be lifeless.

"Thank you," You exhaled, standing up.

Tadashi let out a small chuckle. "No problem, babe," he said, leaving a quick peck on your cheek. You grinned in return which soon formed into a smile when you saw him take the container off. "I'm gonna dump this outside real quick."

The sounds of the movie coming back on distracted you from watching him and you returned to the couch under the blanket. For a couple seconds you were fine, but seeing that big spider really had you shaken up. You kept thinking about what would have happened if you didn't see it. What if you stepped on it in your sock feet? What if you hadn't seen it then and it crawled around the house in the night - crawled on you? Truth be told most spiders didn't bother you all that much, but this one was getting the better of you.

Your front door closing made you jump, despite knowing it was only your boyfriend. "Well, the spider is in your yard now," he told you, putting the container back on the vacuum. He came back to the couch, once again placing his arm around you. "You weren't kidding, that spider was huge. Probably one of the biggest I've ever seen!" He exclaimed.

All you did was mumble back an 'mhm' in response. You were more than thrilled that the spider was out of the house and possibly dead, but you wanted to forget about it. What if the spider is alive and comes back inside, you thought. Soon enough, your heart began to pound again. You tried to keep down some heavy breaths; you didn't want Tadashi to worry about you over this. It was only a spider, you reminded yourself.

However, Tadashi could feel your body trembling in his grip. He glanced over at you, seeing that you weren't even paying attention to the movie and playing with your hair; a nervous tick he knew you had. He slowly rubbed his fingers up and down your arm. "Hey, are you alright?" he asked in a soft voice.

You took in a deep breath. "I'm fine," you shrugged. You knew he wouldn't believe you, but you could only hope he would let it slide.

His warm lips met your cheek for yet another delicate peck. "Is the spider still bothering you?"

You were hesitant, but slowly did you nod. A big sigh came out of you soon after. Seeing this, made Tadashi frown; he didn't like it when you were scared. He muttered a 'C'mere' and guided your head down to his chest so you could hear his heart beating. He knew that always helped calm you down when you needed it. His hand traveled from your arm to your back and he started to rub it in circles. "It's okay," he whispered in your ear. "Everyone gets scared sometimes. But that spider is long gone now. It can't scare you anymore," he assured before planting a long, yet gentle kiss on the top of your head.

You looked up into his big, chocolate eyes. You couldn't help, but smile at his reassuring ways; he always knew how to make you feel better. Leaning upward, you captured Tadashi's lips in your own for a short, but sweet kiss which he gratefully returned. Pulling back, his contagious grin caused one to form for you.

"I love you, 'Dashi" you told him, booping his nose.

A chuckle came from his nostrils. "I love you too, (Y/N)," he returned.

You readjusted yourself in his embrace, snuggled up to his side. He continued to rub your back soothingly; the motion making you comfortable. A minute later, Tadashi's body begin to jiggle under yours. You looked up at him again, seeing him trying to hold in his laughter.

"What's so funny?"

"So, do you still have to go to bathroom, or did the spider take care of that?" He asked with a goofy smile on his face.

You rolled your eyes. "Real funny, 'Dashi."

Okay, here's the thing; this is based on what happened to me awhile ago. I was going down the hall and there was this huge spider and it totally freaked me out. Usually spiders don't bother me and it's easy for me to just whack them with a shoe, but this one was really big and I was too scared to kill it. My mom had to vacuum it up and dump it outside. When I started typing this, I was still a little shaken up, but writing this was really fun and it made me feel better. Also, I know arachnophobia is a very common fear, so I figured this could help other people feel calm maybe??

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this little drabble. I'm really starting to like writing Tadashi x Reader's now. Hope you enjoyed this one! :D
