Chapter 12: He's Back

A/N The picture just... I COULDN'T HELP MYSLEF!! Tell me this isn't true for just any ship in general because I know it is for me! XD [Garmau, Laurmau, (Aarmau and Zanmau only in MS), Dancole, Travcinda, and Kemmalyn are my ships, but Garmau is my main ship]

Aphmau's POV
Garroth and I walk back to my house holding hands. I open the door and Garroth turns to me.

"Aphmau, I'm going to go on guard duty, I'll see you later?" I nod, smiling as he kisses my cheek and walks off.

I turn to go inside and I see Zoey. She has both hands over her mouth and her face is bright red.

"APHMAU!!!" she runs over to me squealing and giggling.

"Huh? Wha?" I say confused.

"OH MY IRENE! APHMAU!!! MY SHIP HAS SAILED!" she screams hugging me tightly.

"Zoey? What in Irene's name are you talking about?" Why is she screaming? What ship? Why does everyone keep using the phrase ship?

"Oh Aphmau! My ship has just sai-"

"ZOEY WHAT IS THIS SHIP?!? WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!?" I yell, cutting her off.

"Huh? Wait! I said too much. Anyways, where were you last night? I couldn't find you anywhere!"

"DON'T CHANGE THE SUBJECT ZOEY!" I take a breath. "What is this-"

"Aphmoo home? Heard Zoey say ship! GARMOO?!?" I hear Levin shout as he climbs down the steps.

LEVIN?!? HOW DOES HE KNOW WHAT A SHIP IS? WHY AM I THE CONFUSED ONE?!?

Levin runs over to me. "Garmoo happen?!? Where Garr Garr at?"

I sigh. I guess I'll never know. "Zoey can I talk to you?"

She smirks mischeviously, she turns grabbing my wrist and pulling me downstairs into her room. "Tell. Me. Everything!" She shouts excitedly.

"About what?"

"You know what I mean! Are you and Garroth a thing now?!?"

I blush. "Wh-Why do you say that?"

"Oh you totally are! When did this happen? Is this why you weren't home yester-" she pauses, her eyes flash to my necklace. "Woah. That is so pretty!" she squeals.

"C-Calm down Zoey!" I can feel that I'm blushing and I look down at my necklace. "Fine. You got me. G-Garroth asked me on a d-date yesterday. We were in the woods a-and he gave me this necklace at sunset." I smile as I pass it over my middle and index fingers. "I-I got tired and fell asleep in the clearing. I woke up and saw Garroth there smiling at me. Th-then we walked here." I didn't tell her that we were dating, that I want to keep secret for now.

I look up from my necklace and I see Zoey there with a huge grin on her face. "APHMAU!! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!" she squeals. "Hey, do you thin-" she gets cut off as someone bangs on the door.

Thank you! I think as I run upstairs saving myself from any further questions. "Sorry Zoey!" I call down and I rush to the door.

I open the door to see Dante. "Lord Aphmau! Come quick!" He takes off and I run off after him.

Dante takes me to the gate. As it comes into view I see- oh Irene no.

"What do you want Zane?" I say accusingly when I reach the gate.

"Oh Lord Aphmau. That's no way to greet someone." He says nonchalantly.

"What were you expecting Zane? Me to bow down to you and call you sir?" I scoff and I hear Laurance snicker behind me. "Now, what business do you have here?"
