Chapter 27: Ships Shall Sail! -Kawaii~Chan

Aphmau's POV
"WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!?" I yell at Garroth, confused. He laughs harder, clutching his stomach.

He steps back and bumps into my desk, causing a small, folded up piece of paper to fall down next to him. He notices it and picks it up.

"No! Please don't!" I shout. He chuckles and hands it back to me.

"Hey, I'm not Laurance. I don't read things that aren't meant for me." He says amused.

I giggle, looking down. "I know, i-it's just I-I-" I trail off, blushing slightly. "Mmmph.." I whimper.

I feel a hand pushing up from under my chin. I look up and see Garroth blushing and smiling at me. An amused breath of air escapes his lips. "You what? Are you afraid of writing a good poem?" He chuckles.

My face flushes a deep red as Garroth smirks at me. "N-no! I-it's just-" I pause, overcome by embarrassment. I can feel the heat radiating from my face. I am just standing there, staring into his eye's icy blue depths. I notice some navy blue streaks that blossom out like a nova, or exploding star. They turn and swirl, creating a beautiful assortment of many shades of blue.

I feel myself slowly leaning toward Garroth. I smile and he smiles back.

Suddenly, I feel my lips press up against his, I smile against it, closing my eyes. My face feels even redder than before, as if a fire had been put up to it.

A few moments later we back away. I catch a glimpse of his face as I look away.

I've never seen anything more red in my life.

But then again.

I'm probably as red as a tomato.

I giggle to myself, swiping my hand over my face, pushing a loose strand of hair behind my ear. I fold my hands together infront of me, looking down.

"I-I.." I trail off again. Why can't I ever say it?

"Hm?" Garroth says, I look up to him.

"Sh-should we go back downstairs?" I ask.

He nods. "I-I think we should make an excuse t-to why we were up here so long." He says and smirks. "They probably are thinking we're up here making out or something weird like that." He whispers to me, chuckling.

I giggle. "Well then they'd be somewhat correct!" I whisper back, starting to blush again.

He widens his eyes in realization and his face flushes a bright red color.

I shake my head smiling. "What will we ever do with you?" I mock playfully.

"Wait. What? HEY!" He says punching my arm.

"Okay fine. I'll stop. Let's just go back downstairs and see if they're talking about us." I giggle and run downstairs quickly.

He makes and amused "hmph" and follows me.

"I bet they confessed their undying love for eachother!" I hear Cadenza tease as Garroth catches up behind me. He makes a "really?" kind of expression on his face and I smile, suppressing a laugh.

"I bet they were about to make out before Aphmau told us to leave!" I hear Lucinda giggle. I turn to Garroth and mouth the words "what did I tell you?" to him.

"Garroth said something about Aphmau being flustered, Kawaii~Chan what did you do to her?" Kiki jokes.

It's nice to see Kiki have fun with these kind of things again. I think and I notice Garroth smiling. He probably thinks so too. I walk over to him.

"Should we barge in on them?" I whisper to him.

He smirks. "Sure. Why not!"

"Kawaii~Chan knows that Aphmau~Senpai and Garroth~Kun are in lo-" Kawaii~Chan stops herself as I walk in.

"Why do we even bother to eavesdrop in you? You all always say the same thing!" I say giggling.

"Okay. So, wait. Why do you guys eavesdrop on us?" Katelyn says standing up. "That must mean it's true because you don't even bother to stop us." She says teasingly.

"No. We just like to see how crazy you can make nothing become." Garroth starts.

Emmalyn chimes in. "Oh I highly doubt that! You so like eachother!" She says and I blush.

"Hah! You even blush in unison! AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING THIS!" I hear Zoey chirp.

"Okay cut it out." I say with a blank expression.

"Aww! But we were just having fuuun! Why do-" she pauses for a moment, her eyes widening, and giggles. "You know what? Never mind!" Kawaii~Chan giggles.

"Oh no. Kawaii~Chan what are you planning now?" I ask.

I see Cadenza smirk. "Garroth. You should go to Laurance's house, all of the guys are there." She giggles, narrowing her eyes mischeviously. "And while your at it, you should wipe the lipstick off of your lips!" She starts laughing.

I bite my bottom lip. Crap! I see Garroth blush and turn around, walking away. I slowly back up.

"Aphmau. Jessica. Phoenix. SPILL THE FREAKING BEANS!!!" I hear Cadenza squeal. "I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU KISSED HIM!! EEEEKKK!!" She squeals. "JUST EEEK! DOES THIS MEAN YOU TWO ARE A THING?!?" She runs circles around me.

My face is deep red as everyone else crowds around me. I get squealed many things at me that mainly consist of this:

"DO YOU LIKE HIM? Like, LIKE LIKE HIM?"

"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!?"

"YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU WERE TOGETHER!!"

"I SO SHIP IT!"

Yep. Because you know, friends!

Anyways, somehow they screamed at me for like 23 minutes and I was surprised that I wasn't deaf afterwords.

Again! Not the point!

I wonder if I should have shown him the poem I made. I mean, if he does actually like me, then it shouldn't embarrass me. But it still does...

APHMAU! FOCUS ON WHAT YOU WERE GOING TO SAY!

"APHMAU IT'S TIME TO EXIT LALA LAND! Hellooooo!" I see Katelyn waving her hand infront of my face. "WAKE UP!" She screams.

"Okay okay! I'm here!" I say, fully out of my daydream.

"Quick question. What made you even lead up to kiss Garroth? I mean, you were always so quiet about it and then the next thing you know, you kiss him!" I hear Nicole say.

"Wh-what? I-I d-don't know. I-I.." I trail off, blushing.

"Okay fine, we'll stop. For now." Cadenza says. "But we're so teasing you about it in school!"

Why do I have such a large group of friends? I sigh, sitting down. This will be a very interesting week.
