Chapter 20: Practice

Garroth's POV
I hope Aphmau finds Kiki before- I don't want to think about it... I'm standing on Aphmau's porch anticipating the return of Aphmau and Kiki. Laurance told me not to go along because she said that Aphmau could handle it. But what if something happens to them? What if they get attacked? My eyes widen..Wh-what if Aphmau got hit again?!? I start to panic. No. NO! IT CAN'T HAPPEN! DON'T THINK LIKE THAT GARROTH! I see Aphmau come into view, and there is someone behind her.

I-is that Kiki! I run down the porch steps and up to them. "KIKI!" I hug her. "DON'T EVER RUN AWAY LIKE THAT AGAIN!"

Laurance runs up and hugs Kiki as well. "WE THOUGHT YOU LEFT!" He says while hugging her.

Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan come out and run up to Kiki, shortly followed by Dante. Soon we're all hugging Kiki.

"KIKI! WHY WOULD YOU SCARE US LIKE THAT!?!" Katelyn yells concerned.

"The way you left made us think.. You were going to commit s-s.." Dante trails off crying.

"Kiki~Sama, don't ever scare us like that again!" Kawaii~Chan says in a small, scared voice.

"I'm so, so, so sorry that I snapped at you guys like that and stormed of. I'm so, so sorry. I just couldn't hold it in anymore." Kiki says crying.

"Come on guys, lets go back to my place, Kiki and I have alot to tell you."

...

"Kiki... I-I never knew you went through that.." Laurance says with his left hand covering the left side of his face.

"I'm so, so sorry Kiki... I-I-I have no words." Katelyn says sympathetically.

"Wow Kiki.. You must be very strong to have put up with so much.." I say sighing, my face in my palms.

"It has just been so rough. Please don't tell anyone else, I-I could be in major trouble. I-I.." She trails off about to cry.

"I asked her if she wanted to be my roommate so that she wouldn't find herself alone if there was another attack. I suggested that there should always be someone by her side so there is even less of a chance of that happening." Aphmau explains.

I nod. "That's sounds good, that way if something were to happen, there'd be someone close by to help."

"Exactly!" Aphmau says.

"I'm curious, Kiki, why did it take you so long to snap?" Dante asks.

"I-I don't know. It might be because I couldn't stand to see someone cry because of the same reason that happened to me. I-I'm so sorry Aphmau." Kiki says solemnly.

"Kiki! What did I say! Don't beat yourself up! I told you, it's okay. Now let's stop thinking about this topic and think about something more positive. Hey Dante," she turns away from Kiki. "What were you going to ask before this whole fiasco happened? As in when you first got here." Aphmau asks.

"Hm? Oh yeah! I was going to ask if you four wanted to rehearse with us? Like we can go over eachother's songs and we can see how something could be improved and vise-versa." He says.

"That sounds like a great idea!" Kawaii~Chan says, probably happy with the change in topic.

"Alright! Let's get started!" Aphmau says.

~Three hours later~

Aphmau's POV
"Okay so we have the songs written down and the parts chosen. All we need to do is learn the songs and we'll be good!" Laurance says happily. He enjoys playing his guitar, so he is a good choice and Dante, he is almost always on his drumsets. Garroth, I don't think I've ever heard him sing before. Hm... Maybe I can get him to sing sometime. It wont be easy, but I'll try!

Now my group. Kawaii~Chan is supposedly on her drums any free time she gets. Katelyn is really good at guitar, like really good. I love listening to her play! I love singing, but I don't really enjoy singing around others, but Kiki caught me singing once and she said I was really good, so okay. I also might play guitar too.. I kind of play it every now and then, it's kind of fun. Kiki is amazing at singing! No doubt about it! I think our two groups have a good chance at winning!

"Hey Aphmau, what do you think the others will do?" I hear Dante ask.

"Well I heard Lucinda is going to do some potion magic, and I think Zoey and Nicole are doing a duet. Their song is really good!" I respond.

"What about Emmalyn and Cadenza?" I hear Katelyn ask from behind me.

"I.. honestly don't know." I say to her.

"Oh okay." Katelyn says and she goes back to tuning her guitar. I look at the clock, 10:23 pm. It's gotten late. "Guys I think it might be time to head home soon." I say to everyone. They check the clock.

"Oh wow! It has gotten late!" Kawaii~Chan says. "Do you mind if Kawaii~Chan leaves her drumset in your basement?"

"No problem, Dante you can leave yours here as well if you want." I say turning to him.

"Really? Thanks Aphmau!" He says.

Katelyn, Laurance, Kawaii~Chan, Dante, and Garroth say goodbye to Kiki and I and head home.

"Kiki, I can show you to my extra room if you would like." I offer.

"Sure!" She says happily and I bring her upstairs and show her the room across from mine.

The room has light blue walls with humming bird wallpaper along the top of the wall. It has a black and white, zebra-striped bed. There was a bedside table on each side of the bed with lamps on each of the tables, which had sky blue shades. There were a couple of windows with blue curtains on them. The carpet was a soft cream color. And there was a tall mahogany dresser to the left of the door and a computer set to the right.

"I LOVE IT!" Kiki squeals running in and sitting on the bed. "Thank you so much Aphmau!" She says excitedly.

"Tomorrow, were going to your old house and moving out your stuff, then you can sell the house." I say, happy at the thought of a roommate.

"APHMAU I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING!" Kiki squeals, she gets up and runs over to me.

I laugh. "What is it Kiki?"

"WE CAN PRACTICE MORE OFTEN AND THEN WE CAN BE REALLY GOOD AT IT!" She twirls around gleefully and then stops and smirks.

"Now I can hear you sing more often!" She giggles.

"Wait. WHAT! I DID NOT THINK THIS THROUGH!" I yell nervously.

"Calm down Aphmau! You're an awesome singer! Why are you so shy?" She giggles. "I can help with that..." she smirks.

"What... is that supposed to mean?" I say hesitantly.

"Oh nothing!" She says in a high pitched voice.

"I swear! If you say anything to him..." I begin.

"Hey don't worry! I wont tell him, that's for you to decide! I am just saying, I could help you with your stage fright... That..doesn't involve the internet." she shudders.

I put my hand on her shoulder. "Kiki don't think about that, just go to sleep, we'll talk more in the morning. You need your rest."

She yawns. "O-okay fine, goodnight Aph."

"Goodnight Kiki." I turn and go to my room to get ready for bed.

~Okay I'm done! Four chapters is enough! Hehe! Honestly though, I really enjoyed this! My creativity was flooding rivers, so I decided to control that water. Now you got yourself 5934 words in the form of four chapters! (Yes I added all four of the word counts) I'm going to go watch some FT now..
