Chapter 13: Where am I?

Aphmau's POV
I'm trapped in a dark room. "H-hello?" I call into the blackness, no one answers. All I feel is a drumming against my skull that slowly gets worse. I can only remember this:

I'm walking towards the woods, sundown just passed. It has been so eerily calm recently. I need to just get some fresh air to calm my nerves, so that's why I'm here.

I hear a scream and I run toward the sound. I knew the peace wouldn't last! I race toward the sound and I hear a deep voice.

"Where do you think you're going little Miss?" It says, I turn toward the voice and see Zenix.

"Why are you here?!?" I shout ready to snap with fear and anger.

"Oh we both know your time is well up!" He says with an evil glint in his eye. He then pulls out his sword and attacks me, I black out.

"Oww." I moan rubbing my head. That memory is slowly fading. "Is anyone there?" I start to panic. "Hello?! Anybody?!?"

Where am I?

My fear swamps me, I scream. The sound just fades to nothing like all of the rest of my calls.

I get up, ignoring the increasing pain in my head. I run, to where, I don't know. I just run.

Running.

Running.

Running.

It's as if I'm going in circles, but I'm not. I have been running in a straight, unending, pitch-black line.

Nothing.

The pain worsens. I'm going no where, the world spins. Even though I can't see anything, it spins. I fall down and black out.

...

"Aphmau! APHMAU! You woke up!" I slowly open my eyes and look around. I'm in my room, but not?

The usual blocky forms of everything...

They're...rounded?

I hear a low voice, sort of a slight British accent followed by a higher American accented voice.

That sounds like Garroth and Laurance. I look to my left at the person who had yelled my name. She had blonde hair and a high pitched, soft voice. She wore glasses and her eyes were purple. She had a pink jacket on with gold buttons, the shirt was open with a white undershirt.

She looks like Emmalyn.

"Zoey! Aphmau's waking up!" she calls over to a girl with long blond hair and a green headband. She had pointed, elf-like ears and a green top with the shoulders cut out. She had sky blue eyes.

"She is? APHMAU YOU'RE AWAKE!" She squeals.

Three guys enter the room, one has brown hair and cyan blue eyes with a black and white striped polo shirt, the next one had blonde hair and icy blue eyes and wore a plaid blue shirt with a white undershirt, the third one had blue hair, navy blue eyes, and a red hoodie on.

"Wh-where am I?" I rub my head, I can no longer remember anything accept for the faces of the people that I knew. "How did I get here?"

"OH APHMAU! WE WERE SO WORRIED!" Zoey sqeaks excitedly while crying.

"Huh? A-about what?" I respond confused.

Emmalyn hugs me crying. "Oh Aphmau! You were in a coma, you were out for over a month. You were just released from the hospital a few hours ago, I saw you mumble and I figured you were waking. We're so happy you're back!" She looks up. "Oh! Sorry!"

"I-it's okay. Why was I-I out?" I look around and I can see Garroth flinch and snarl to himself and Laurance pats his shoulder. He must have noticed I saw him because he sighs.

"Z-Zane hit you with his car. H-he was speeding and aimed right for you, no one w-was around but Laurance, Kiki, Zoey, and me, but we-we saw it happen all too quickly to have time to react. H-he had swung around a corner and crashed into you, he sped off right afterwords and-and I saw him smiling when he did that." I saw his eyes start to tear up, and I could see everyone else become somber when he recalled the incident.

"I-I-I can't even begin to comprehend how someone can become so evil as to laugh at the sight of almost killing someone!" Dante yells and Laurance nods in agreement.

"How did someone like you come from a family so bad Garroth?" Laurance asks sympathetically.

"M-my mother was a good person, a-and my father used to be good b-before she died. After she did, my father became power hungry and because Zane w-was so young at the time, he took after him. I was always looked down upon after that." He whispered that last part, talking about his mother must hurt him.

"This has gotten so sad. We should just be appreciative of the fact that Aphmau is awake now!" Laurance says trying to smile, though I could see that explaining how I ended up like this brought back bad memories.

At least the pounding had dulled down to a minor headache. "Hey where is everyone else?" I ask them. Emmalyn looks at me, she seems glad that I changed the subject.

"They are at school right now, us five were on break and we recieved a text from the hospital that you were to be released, because our class was the only one to have break at that time we asked if we could leave school to see you and th-" She gets cut off by a loud squeal and the door to my room flings open.

"APHMAU!" Cadenza, Kiki, Kawaii~Chan, Kenmer, Katelyn, Jeffery, Lucinda, and Nicole crash into my room. I look at my wall clock, 3:58 pm the hands read, they must have just gotten out.

I look at my crowded room, everone was around me, all of my friends from school. I smile, a feeling of warmth coming to my heart. A feeling of companionship. A feeling of trust.

Odd. I can remember every face here, what I need to do in high school, and how to care for myself, yet I feel as if I left something behind. Something I used to have, something. I don't know what I just feel, I don't know, odd without it. That something or someone, what could it be?

~Heeyyy!!! So I did this mainly to avoid Garroth going to the Irene dimension because I was stupid and based this originally on episode 89, one episode before the whole baby shower incident. *facepalms*

Okay so here is some information that you will need to know about this new setting.

Aphmau and her friends are now sophomores in high school, so now everyone is relatively the same age- 16 or 17.

They are still in Phoenix Drop, and the school is called Phoenix Drop High School.

I hope you enjoy the new setting! This will get good! Also this new setting provides me with new ideas and inspiration to keep away writer's block! Yay! Also I just really, REALLY wanted to do this so, yeah gg me.

I might not be able to post everyday, but I will post at least once or more a week, and that will happen. So you'll get more!
