Chapter 29: Visions of a Different Time

Aphmau's POV
"YOU" I flinch at the aggressiveness of the voice. I see Zane smirk and turn around, standing up.

"The one and only." Zane sneers. "You don't have any right to be here, Zenix."

"Oh, I could say the exact same thing for you!" Zenix growls and takes another step closer. "Why are you here? Are you a traitor?"

"I was never the traitor in the first place, you drugged me!" Zane shouts, irritated.

"WHY YOU LITTLE-" Zenix runs up to Zane and punches him in the face.

Nicole and Katelyn erupt from a bush. "BAD MOVE!" They growl in unison.

"And what would you mean by that?" A girl with wispy grey-white hair and purple eyes says stepping out from behind a corner. She has a black hooded sweatshirt and short black shorts on.

"You can't get away with anything sneaky! Nya~!" Another girl, this time with light purple hair and emerald green eyes steps out behind her. She has a dark red and black checkered hoodie on with short black shorts as well.

This girl has a black cat-eared headband on, similar to Kawaii~Chan. I look over at her and see her growling viciously at the girl.

"Miiiicchhhiii!!" She says through gritted teeth.

Michi? Then the other one must be Sasha.

"Oh pity me! Nya~! I thought we'd get to meet someone new, but all we got is a ditsy kitty and a few of her buddies. Nya~!" The girl called Michi says.

Nya? What does that mean?

"No you derp! Look! We have a traitor at our brinks." Sasha says smirking menacingly.

"A traitor? Oooh! What fun we will have giving him his punishment! Nya~!" Michi says excitedly.

P-punishment?!? What do they mean by "punishment?"

"Would you two stop bickering and get over here!" Zenix growls, glaring at the two.

"Sorry!" Both girls shout in unison. They run up to Nicole and Katelyn and try to knock them down. Katelyn flings her fists repeatedly at Sasha, making her stagger back in shock at the speed of the hits. Nicole smirks and shoves Michi to the ground with a high kick to her side.

"Oh looky! The prey fought back! This will be fun! Nya~!" Michi says, quickly jumping back to her feet again.

I can't just sit here and watch this! I get up and pull Zenix away from Zane, who was currently on the ground with his arm splayed out akwardly.

"APHMAU WATCH OUT!" I hear someone scream from behind me and I immediately get knocked aside the head. I feel a sharp prod in my lower thigh. My legs buckle and I fall down, grasping my leg in pain. The world becomes hazy for a moment and I can hear distant voices.

"What did you do to her!"

"I swear if you hurt her!"

"APHMAU ARE YOU OKAY?!?"

"ZENIX YOUR DEAD!"

I hear a loud thump and the sound of something breaking as it hit the ground. I look to my left and see shards of glass with blood on it. I squint my eyes and see something else...
