*Busts a door down*
I'M BACK SUCKERS! So sorry it took me forever to update! My grandfather has been in ICU with junk and it's been crazy.
So yeah . . . . .
Anyways, I hope you enjoy! :D
~
I scream at the top of my lungs, watching in horror as the ocean grew closer and closer. The roar of the plane above me and the rushing wind drowned my voice away. I squeeze my eyes shut, tears pooling in the corner of my eyes. Blindly reaching out, I grab Cody's arm and grip on as tight as I can. If I let go, I know I'll fly away and drown. The thought made me feel sick at my stomach. The only thing I could think to do was scream louder. "WE'RE GOING TO DIE!"
Cody pries my hand off his arm, but keeps his grip. He twists in the air and shoved his hand in his pocket. "Quit screaming! We'll be fine!"
We're rapidly falling towards our death and he's telling me to be calm?! How can I be calm now?!
Maybe it's because I hurt his hand.
"WE'RE GOING TO DIE!" I shriek again, those being the only words I could think of.
"Quit screaming in my ear!" He yells again. "Don't freak out- nevermind, stop freaking out!"
I start to scream something back, but only let out an 'oomph' when I jerk against something. Cody's grip on my hand loosens. I find myself falling again, but this time, Cody isn't with me.
I open my eyes again, the blue sky and ocean spinning. I reach out blindly for something to grab onto. Cody is nowhere. He just left me! He left me to fall and drown to my doom! I didn't think it was possible to hold that much of a grudge. Yeah, he would be a little sour but throwing somebody off a plane?!
I bet he even called those government people. He did all of this. I think.
I squeeze my eyes shut tightly, not wanting to see the water rush closer to me. I'm going to die. And falling out of an airplane.
I guess it wouldn't be the worst death in the world. I could have choked on a French fry or something else stupid like that. I bet Mr. Jenkins would have a good story about French fries.
Funny the things you think of when you're about to die.
Something grabs my ankle, pulling me from my, strange, depressing thoughts. I crack my eyelids open, squinting past my hair and the blinding sun. The mangled picture was hard to process since I had flipped through the air a few times and was now upside down. But I saw Cody, holding onto my ankle with his good hand, seated on what looked like... a hover-board maybe? Not the little ones, but an actual, real life hover-board that looked like it should be in some Back to the Future movie. Maybe hover-craft would be a better word. It was dark and coated in a black material.
Okay, even though he pushed me off a plane, I had to admit it looked epic.
Cody grips onto me tightly, but suddenly throws me in the air. Another scream rips from my throat. I reach and try to grab the hover-craft. But my vision was so blurred from falling and my hair flying everywhere, I have no idea where he is.
I came to a jolting stop as I land against something. My hair flopsin my face and my rear hurts from the sudden landing. I quickly brush my hair from my eyes and look up, meeting Cody's gaze. "You okay?" He asked.
I open my mouth, but can't say anything. My throat feels raw from screaming so much and I wouldn't know what to say. I'm not okay, but I'm kinda okay since I'm not falling to my inevitable doom.
