OH MY GOODNESS!!! I'M LATE I'M LATE I'M LATE!

Sorry! I had an unexpected sleepover Friday, I got back late Saturday, and I was super busy Sunday. For that I apologize.

If I miss another update, I'm sorry. I'm really busy with school and stuff. A friend of mine is getting married and they asked me to play at their wedding so that's something else I have to work on.

Anyways, I'm here now and so let's get on with it!

~

"I WILL NOT GO DOWN SO EASILY!" Reil shouts at the TV. "I WILL NOT! I AM OF ASGARD AND I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED! BARBAROUS BRUTE, WHY ARE YOU SO USELESS?!"

I get so distracted laughing, I dive Princess Peach off the Rainbow Road. I'm not worried about losing since Reil is still driving Bowser off the road. No matter how many times she falls, she's convinced that she'll be able to short cut through the course by dropping down to the track below. But every time she plummets to the earth in a ball of Bowser fire.

Tucker rolls his eyes. "You came in last ever single race, Reil. You've already gone down."

Anger flashes in her eyes and the WII remote she holds snaps in half. We all groan and Reil rolls her eyes, mumbling under her breath.

"Again?" Tucker pauses the game, lolling his head back. "This is the fifth remote you've broken!"

"Can I help it that Midgard's technology is so delicate?" Reil tosses the broken remote by the others. Cameron duplicates Abby's remote and offers it to Reil. She takes it, studying it as she had with the other duplicated remotes. "Thank you," She nods, struggling to hook the safety strap around her wrist. I try to hide my amusement. It's great seeing her struggling to do something so simple since she's so good at everything else.

"Now," Reil sits up her strap is secure. "We may process with the racing of Mario and his carts, although the small man does not seem to have much to do with this game."

"Hold up," Abby pauses the game as soon as Tucker hits continue. "What do you mean by that?"

"This short man has as much to do with the game as the man in green, or the princess, or barbarous brute. He is on the cover, that making him the only thing more special than the others."

Abby purses her lips and shrugs. "Alright, I can't argue with you on that point."

Abby continues the game and Reil continues shouting at the TV. We play until deciding to settle down for marathoning movies until we fall asleep. Those are my favorite plans, but before we started, Abby's phone dinged.

"Ooh, let's see what this is," Abby scoops her phone up and taps the notification.

I run over and plop down beside her, peering at the screen. A man with stringy gray hair and a gruff face holds a sign with numbers on it. There's something familiar about the man in the mugshot, but I couldn't quite place it. I don't remember seeing him in the Dark Dimensions. I read the headline, explaining that he had escaped from jail a few hours ago.

"This is strange," Abby's face twists in confusion. "I programmed the thing to notify me when I got news, but only supernatural news. This is about some guy who broke out of prison with a few other guys. I have no idea who he is."

"So why were we notified about it?" Cody raises an eyebrow.

"I dunno," She shrugs.

"Is there any info that could explain?"
