Why hello there. . . . .

Welcome.

I see you have made it into my . . . . . Thingy. I honestly don't know what this is. Ok before this starts getting weird let's get this thing rolling. Enjoy the next chapter!

"It wasn't my fault! How was I supposed to know?! She was just out on the porch, peering through the window like some stalker!" The voice buzzes up in the back of my head, along with the pounding of my head.

"We thought it might be somebody from the police." A quieter voice says.

"Or a robber." The other voice adds, her voice sounding like she had just been scolded.

I peel my eyelids open, the left side of my temple throbbing. I bite back a groan and blink against the sudden light.

"Oh my gosh, she's waking up!" The girl gasps. "She's going to leave. She's going to leave and it's going to be my fault. I'm sorry!"

I lift my head, something cold falling onto my arm. Looking down, I see an ice pack. I blink the blurriness from my vision. An ice pack? Why would I need an ice pack? And why does my head feel like...

I feel my body tense as the memories rush back to me. Oh. Right. I just got knocked upside the head.

"Calm down." A familiar voice says. "Don't scare her."

I start to sit up, but a gentle grasp pushes me back onto the comfort of a bed. "Whoa, easy." I decipher the voice as Cody's. I let myself lay down and look up at him. But I refuse to relax. He gives a slight smile. "You got hit pretty hard."

"You're telling me?" I say, my voice tenser than I had planned for it to be. I glance behind Cody and see two others standing behind him. There was a girl about my age, watching me with bright blue eyes as she gnawed on her thumb nail. A light spray of freckles dotted her nose and cheek. She looked like I was about to jump up and attack her. Honey colored waves of hair tumbled down below her shoulders. A cute pair of pajamas loosely hung on her body. I blink again. Dang it, this girl looks like she would be on Disney Channel. How can somebody in Kawaii cat pajamas be that pretty?

"I'm sorry." She blurts out. She takes a breath and wrings her fingers. "We thought you were a stalker from the government. But I didn't hit you-- he did." She points to the boy standing beside her. He looks a little older than her. He had dark brown hair the swished over his forehead, casting a shadow over his chestnut colored eyes. He wore a blue hoodie that hugged his thin body and pajama pants.

His eyes widen and he shakes his head. "I-it was an accident." He explains quickly, quietly. "She wanted me to." He points to the girl, who gasps in shock.

"I," She motions to herself, dragging out the word. "Was... scared. And tired. You know I'm not in my reasonable mind when I'm tired and scared."

"You told me to hit her with a fire extinguisher."

She punches his shoulder, making him wince slightly. "I was scared!" She repeats in protests.

Cody nods towards them with a slight smile on his lips. "Cameron and Abby."

I nod slowly, but stop from the pain. No moving would be a good thing. The pounding that throbs in my head makes it hard to think clearly. I should be freaking out that I'm in a bedroom with three strangers, but I'm in too much of a fog to care about it. And they're arguing awful loud.
