Hiya! Me again! I want to thank all those who are reading this. It really means a lot to me. Like, you have no clue!
Enjoy!

"HA!" Abby slaps her hand over the card, a wicked grin spread on her lips. "Slap jack!"
I bite back a smirk and nod to the card. "That's not a jack. It's a king."
"Nuh uh." She shook her head. "I saw it. I saw the card. Trust me, I'm the master at slap jack. Just ask Cameron. That's a jack, or I'll give you five cards."
"And if it is a jack?"
"You give me five cards. Duh." She snorts with a smirk.
I nod, straightening. "Deal."
Abby grins a lifts her hand. Her face almost immediately falls. She looks back up at me, pointing accusingly. "How did you switch the jack to a king?"
I laugh and hold my hand out. "Five cards if you please."
She huffs and slides the cards in my palm, which I readily put in my stack. "I don't know how in the world you could have seen it was a king." She huffs, settling back in her spot behind the coffee table. "I barely had time to register it was one of the royal people!"
"Eh," I shrug, but couldn't help to smile. "It's a talent I guess."
"You can't beat the master." She motions to herself with a dramatic expression. "It's impossible!"
"Well apparently it's not," I grin. "Because I just beat you. Unless I'm actually the master."
"No way." She shakes her head, her lips pursing. "Don't you even start with me girl."
"We'll just see." I lay another card down, giving her a challenging look. Abby grins and continues the game. She sits on her knees, looking more anxious the more cards I pile up. By the end of the game, I hold all the cards in my hand.
Abby sits back, her lips pulled back in a thin line. "Well." She speaks at last. "I'm going to go listen to my motivational tapes now."
I laugh. "I now proclaim myself the master of slap jack!"
She rolls her eyes and snatches the cards. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. You just got lucky that round. I'm sure this was just beginner's luck."
"Abby McAlister," I huff, setting my hands on my hips. "This was not my first time to play slap jack."
"It's your beginner's luck from when you first started!" She exclaims, the door to the lab swinging open. "Because I totally whipped you when we first started!"
"What are we talking about?" Cody asks as he steps from the closet.
I shrug, but couldn't help but smile. "Oh nothing. I just completely creamed Abby at a game of slap jack."
He grins and sits on the arm of the couch. "Really now? So the master has finally been dethroned?"
"Hey, hey," Abby jumps in. She holds her hands up and explains in a defensive voice, "I gave her a run for her money. Somewhere in the game, I hit a jack and I had a lead."
"Hmmm, no you didn't." I shake my head.
Cody chuckles. "I think I'm going to have to believe Christina's side. You're awfully defensive Abby."
