(A/N)
Guys- or guy- I am the worst updater on the face of the planet. I swear, I'm so so so sorry! I have an excuse for you every time, so here's this excuse: My pen pal came over and we had our VBS so it was very busy.
But, hey! I'm here now. I know you're probably weeping tears of joy for me. You probably had to go grab some tissues cuz you can't read this through your tears of mirth.
Now that you're done weeping, I'd like to thanks "Thorgirl1" for the follow!! You are my new favorite person :D
I'm sure your tired of me ranting on about nothingness, so I will move on with the long expected story.

I study Reil's face, searching for signs of amusement. But the longer I look, I realize she's serious. "What?"
"There is a traitor in our midst," Reil hisses between pale teeth.
"How do you know?"
"I have always known. I have known since I joined you," Reil answers, finally letting my wrist go. "When I spoke with Daniel, the will bender, he said he saw your minds and one of us is a traitor. He said there was a traitor. He would not tell me who it is, but hinted that they have issues with their father." She glances around as if expecting the others to appear in the closet with us. "He did tell me the answer to finding who it is was in the person's name."
"Wait wait wait," I hold my hands up. "Why is there a traitor? I mean, what is the traitor going to do?"
"Why is there a traitor?" She repeats in a dry tone. "Because he said that they had plans to take over the world."
My brow furrows and I hiss, "Why didn't you tell us about this sooner?!"
"Because I did not know who I am able to trust and who is the traitor." Reil gives me a look. "As mortals say, "duh"."
"Then why did you tell me?"
"Because you are trustworthy."
I blink. "Really? You think I'm trustworthy?"
"Are you not?"
"Yes, of course, I am! I thought you hated me. What makes you think I'm trustworthy?"
"Are you genuinely asking me this?"
I roll my eyes. "Whatever. What makes you tell me now? Why didn't you tell me yesterday, or a week ago? What makes now different than yesterday?"
"Because the time is growing short." She shakes her head. "And I have a guess on who the traitor is."
"Who?"
"If you will be quiet, I will tell you."
"Tell me!"
"Tucker," She glances around the closet. "As we all know now he has issues with his father, he nearly killed you, and pretended it was an accident. He was also vicious in the snow war..."
"Reil, snowball fights are games."
Reil glares at me. "You have to tell the others I am gone to visit my family to cover for me," she continues. "I will find Daniel to learn more about this traitor." Her fingers rub against her hilt and I shudder, feeling a little bad for Daniel. He's going to get a beating he'll never forget. "Can you do that?"
"Yeah," I nod, dazed. "I guess so."
Reil doesn't smile, but she isn't scowling, which is about as close to smiling as she gets. "You have my thanks, lady Christina." She opens the door and marches out the back door, disappearing in the woods.
