Okay, sorry. #notsohumblebrag

Anyways, on with the story before I freak out any more.

{WARNING: SADNESS AND TEARS AND PAIN AHEAD}

~

I stumble back as Reil's sword swings at my throat. Panic builds up in my chest and I duck as a dagger is thrown. I scramble back and clench my fist to keep them from shaking. Where is Samuel? I can't fight her on my own!

I snap into the White Dimension and let out a breath of relief, looking to Samuel. He stands silent and still, as always. "Okay," I say. "Show me what you've got."

The faceless figure moves in the fighting dance, seeming to walk with a limp. His actions are quick and seem pretty advanced. I'm not certain if I'll be able to do them, but my protests are silent. At the end, Samuel jabs his hand forward, as if stabbing his opponent. My face grows hot. Did he... just stab his invisible foe?

I can't do that! I'll try to do everything. Everything but kill Reil.

But what if I have to resort to that? If she's bent on killing me and I'm not able to fight her off, I'll have to kill her...

I snap back to reality. I move in the sway of the dance, side stepping behind the queen and kicking the back of her knees. She falls to her knees and snaps her elbow back, but I jump to the side. I kick the sword from her hand and it flies several feet away. I keep the momentum going and aim my spinning ankle at the side of her head. I always knew she was hard headed, but she is in the sense that she's stubborn and literally has a hard skull.

I nearly fall from my ankle throbbing, but manage to catch myself. Reil rushes to her feet and jumps in a back hand spring. I duck down before her feet crunch down on my head and by the time I whirl around, she's already on her feet and already has her sword back. A calm look gleams in her eyes and I try to mirror it, but I'm the last thing from calm.

She swings her sword and if I didn't have Samuel's guidance, I would lose my head. I drop to my feet and spin around with my leg extended. I wanted to wipe her out, but instead she jumps up and slams her heel on my back. I face-plant on the floor and roll over as her sword stabs the ground. My heart skips a beat and I glance down at my ripped shirt. She was so close to impaling me...

It finally sinks in that she wants me dead. This isn't a joke or gag. She wants to kill me and the only way I'm going to come out alive is to kill her. I shudder, feeling sick at my stomach.

But... I can't kill anybody. I'm a teenager, not a murderer! I don't care what Samuel did, I'm not killing her and that's final. I'll... Just have to figure something else out.

I try to get a distance between us, but Reil runs after me, faster than I am. I kick at her chest to try and slow her down. I need time to figure out a way out of this, but Reil isn't giving me any. She grabs my leg and spins around, hurling me against the wall.
