"It's day four of our expedition as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I have no idea what day or time it is," Tucker announces, rubbing his stomach with a painful expression. "And still no sign of food."
Cameron groans and rubs his face. "Tucker is monologuing again."
Cody sighs and presses his hands to his ears, his fingers tangling with his blond hair. "Not this again..."
"Christina has gone nose blind already as Cameron before her and Cody is starting to show signs. I'm afraid I will become the same way... if I don't die of hunger and dehydration first," Tucker narrates in a dramatic voice. "The smell is telling me that I would rather be somewhere else, but the upper world is a dark one and I doubt the Queen will appreciate my rugged looks returning. But is the world ready for this handsome face?" He brushes his hand down his face with a somber look, shutting his eyes. "I'm ready to beat Reil up and I'm sure that my fellow freak comrades would say the same if they were not so busy moaning and groaning of their woes. I'm sure if they would loosen up, we could pop up to the surface and grab a Big Mac, then things would be much better—"
"Tucker," Cody starts.
"I need a CHEESEBURGER!" Tucker shouts, shaking his fist at the ceiling. "My patience is dangling at the end of its rope and the rope is on fire!"
"Please make him stop." I lift my head, looking at Cody pleadingly.
"Tucker, we're all hungry too," Cody rubs his face. "But try to tone it down. I can't think with so much noise."
Tucker strides over to him, peering down at the notebook in his lap. "You can't think about your plan? Here," he snatches it away. "I'll give you a plan."
All three of us simultaneously groan.
Tucker's brow furrows in confusion. "What is it this time?"
"Your plans suck Tucker," I deadpan.
"No, they don't suck."
"Do to."
"Do not."
"Do to!"
"Do not!"
"Do to-"
"Guys, cut it out!" Cody snatches the notebook away. Tucker sticks his tongue out at him. "You sound like six-year-olds fighting over a fruit snack!"
"Come on, man," Tucker crosses his arms and shoots me a glare. "Can I at least tell you my plan? It might be the best thing you ever hear. You never know."
Cody looks like he's about to yell, but stops and pinches the bridge of his nose. "Fine." He breathes through gritted teeth, holding the notebook out to him.
I groan and wish I can go deaf for the next few minutes so I won't have to listen.
"Yes thank you!" Tucker cheers. He takes the notebook and settles down on a blanket.
