"Malcolm I know it sounds crazy, but I really like this girl." I awoke to Angus saying this. I stayed silent, and pretended I was still sleeping.

"Angus you've only just met this girl, not only that but your fiancé died a few days ago. Forgive me but I don't think you know what you're feeling." Malcolm replied, his voice agitated.

"Mal trust me, I know what I'm doing and it's not as if I don't know how this all sounds but I feel for her more than I have with anyone else." Angus pleaded.

"Really? Because I remember you saying that to me about the last girl you know the one you were supposed to marry!" Malcolm exclaimed at his brother.

"Malcolm you remember how crazy I was about her right?" Angus asked.

"Of course I do." Malcolm replied.

"Well try that but even more intense." Angus told him.

"Seriously?" Malcolm said.

"Of course I'm serious! I feel like I've known her all my life. I didn't have that chemistry with the last one." Angus said.

"Don't hurt her Angus. She seems to like you back so don't mess her up all because you changed your mind." Malcolm told him, his voice low and calm.

"I'm sure about her Malcolm, but she seems to be indifferent towards me." Angus replied. I could tell from the tone of his voice that he didn't truly believe the last part but said it to irritate Malcolm.

"Don't be stupid Angus, look at her! If she didn't like you, she wouldn't be sharing a couch with you. Let alone be wrapped around you. Take my advice, don't wait too long to ask her or you might lose her. Oh and Angus?" Malcolm said.

"Yeah?"

"I approve of her. Her friends are hilarious to have around, and I think we should keep them around. So don't mess this up." Malcolm said, his voice filled with humor.

They started laughing then, and I heard footsteps going to what I assumed was the kitchen. I would need to tell Gaylord and Ivy about what I heard when we were alone. I stretched out a little and opened my eyes. "Hey." I said to Angus looking up at him with a smile.

"Hey, how'd you sleep?" Angus asked.

"Really good, and you?" I replied.

"Same." He said.

"What'd you dream about?" I asked him, turning around so I faced him.

"I'll show you." Angus replied, and leaned forward. I was going to stop him, but I couldn't find a reason for why I should so I closed my eyes and kissed him. His lips were pleasantly soft but firm on mine, and I felt his arms wrap around my waist and pull me more towards him. I let out a sound of content, wrapping one arm around his neck and letting my right hand go into his long curly hair I relaxed into the kiss. I lost sense of my surroundings and only focused on Angus. I tilted my head and Angus kissed me harder, his hands going leaving my waist and going lower.

"I KNEW IT!!!!" Ivy screamed at the top of lungs.

Angus and I jumped apart, and I almost fell off of his lap but Angus caught me. Malcolm came out from the kitchen looking very confused. "Knew what?" I asked her with a grin.

"You do have a thing for him! I knew it." Ivy shouted again and started dancing around.

"Oh I have to go tell the guys about this. I'll be back later." Malcolm said, laughing and opened the front door.

I heard a thump, and Malcolm keep walking away. I heard more footsteps, but it was coming towards the living room and I saw future Angus walk into the room. "Where have you been?" Ivy asked him.

"I came back late last night and I couldn't open the door. No one heard me knocking so I slept outside the door." Future Angus explained. "I heard shouting a few seconds ago. What happened?" He asked, scanning the room and stopping when he saw me wrapped up in young Angus' arms. I didn't know how to answer him, and I sure didn't want to explain everything if I slipped up and said something wrong.

"Well, you see Lorna here was just making out with Angus." Ivy explained, smirking at me the whole time. She knew what she was doing and I couldn't say anything to stop her.

Future Angus turned his attention to me once more and gave me a glare, but quickly hid it behind a false smile. I saw the jealousy, and I also felt young Angus' arms tighten around me. I wanted to scream at them both, to yell at future Angus for even getting jealous at himself and to tell young Angus how stupid he was to be even worried about future him stealing me away from him. It was all pretty confusing and most of all extremely stupid.
