"Oh come on Gaylord! You see it as clearly as I do." Ivy's slightly loud statement waking me up from my unconscious state. I was still curled up next to Angus, his back faced the bed that Ivy and Gaylord were on. Angus showed no sign of being disturbed from the noise, but curiosity had me wide awake.

Gaylord scoffed at Ivy, clearly agitated by the returning subject that so greatly annoyed her. "I don't know nor see what you're talking about."

"Will you stop acting dumb for a minute and just listen to reason?" Ivy questioned, her voice going up a higher octave in her annoyance.

Gaylord huffed in response to Ivy, "Stop shouting! You pointed them out and I see what I see and from my perspective I still don't understand why we can't leave. It's not like this is going to ruin them forever."

"You're yelling too. Will you just let all of us come to an agreement on when we leave? You said yourself you see them over there, and how happy does Lorna look right now?" Ivy asked.

This time there was no noise of anger or annoyance, only a sigh of pity and sadness. "I know she looks happy but, it'll hurt worse the longer we stay. There's no actual reason for us to be here, I mean Bon was saved and there's nothing else we can prevent." Gaylord said. "Plus what about Luke? Or our band? We had lives! And I'm not going to just leave everything behind for something that I could care less about."

"I haven't forgotten about Luke, but we can always figure something out." Ivy replied.

Gaylord gave no response and the room filled with empty silence. I didn't know whether they just went back to sleep or sat there in an angry glare battle but I snuggled a little closer to Angus and went to sleep once again.
