Gaylord and Ivy were waiting, still looking as demonic as ever. "What?" I asked.
"Nothing, let's just find somewhere to stay." Gaylord said, starting to walk down the street.
Ivy and I followed her, until we found a suitable hotel a few blocks down. We checked in, and Ivy handed over her unlimited debit card she had gotten from Cliff from what seemed like ages ago. We shared a room, and the silence and glares were getting to me.
"Can you guys please just tell me what's going on?" I asked, looking at them both.
"I can't believe he's with her." Ivy said, while Gaylord shouted, "I can't believe you're getting upset about this!"
"Gaylord, are you seriously asking me why I got upset?" I asked.
"Yes I am! He was bound to move on, and it's not like you guys were married or anything, so I think you're being selfish. "Gaylord answered.
I wanted to be mad, I felt the fire start to grow before it went out just as quickly as it had grown.
"You're right." I muttered.
"Of course I am. Now just leave him and the band alone, you've done enough damage." Gaylord said. I think it would've been less painful if she had just slapped me in the face.
"No can do Gaylord, I have to meet Angus outside the studio at ten o'clock tonight. I'm sorry, but I want to know what he has to say before completely losing contact with him." I said, dismissing the glare I received.
"Fine, don't come to me when you're all upset." Gaylord replied, going over to one of the three beds in the room, and laid down.
"Wouldn't dream of it." I angrily said, walking towards the front door. "I'm going out, see you guys later."
I left the room, and walked out the hotel, cursing under my breath the whole way. I don't know how far I walked, but I ended up at a park and the sun was setting. I found an empty bench, and sat down with a huff, still pissed off.
"Surprise seeing you here." I hear Bon say, before he sat down next to me.
"Oh hi, where's Jade?" I ask him, glancing at him once before looking at the sun set.
"Sometimes I enjoy taking a walk alone, so what brought you here?" Bon asks.
"I needed to cool down." I responded, deciding to not go into details. Bon let out a sigh, I noticed him shake his head out of the corner of my eyesight.
"I told him not to do this." Bon muttered, running a hand through his dark hair.
"Not to do what?" I questioned, now that the sun had set I turned my full attention to Bon.
"To not get married." Bon replied.
"Why would you tell him that?" I asked confused now. Bon shook his head again, his hair falling around his face making him push it back.
"I could tell he was only asking her because Mal kept pestering him. Only now Malcolm sees the damage he's done but it's too late now, plus I knew with how you and Angus acted that you'd come back. I expected to see you sooner but hey you still came back, sadly the idiot didn't listen to me." Bon explained, closing his eyes.
"Bon, is there any way you could've been mistaken? Maybe Angus is really happy with her." I question, pulling my bangs away from my eyes.
"No, I haven't seen him truly happy since you were around." Bon answered.
I rolled my eyes, "Okay Bon, whatever." I reply, sarcasm seeping in my voice.
"You'll see tonight." Bon said.
"How do you know about tonight?" I ask him, surprised.
"I asked Angus, and he told me. You sure got his fiancé upset, she had seen the way Angus looked when you left, and when he didn't listen to her when he took off after you, well let's just say she was very angry." Bon said with a chuckle.
I laughed with him, "Bon, I think you're over exaggerating."
"Only a little, but it's still the truth." Bon replied, giving me his boyish grin, his eyes light with humor.
I shook my head, "Do you know what time it is?" I asked.
Bon looked down at his watch, "It's about nine-forty five."
"How far away is the studio from here?"
"About a ten minute walk." Bon answered.
"I better start walking then." I said, getting up from the bench.
"I'll walk with you, Jade will get worried if I'm gone too long." Bon said, also getting up from the bench.
We walked down the street for a while, neither of us saying anything. I saw the studio up ahead, and stopped walking. Bon stopped, and faced me with a confused look. "What is it?" He asked.
"Nothing, I'm just scared, I guess." I reply, looking down at the ground.
I felt Bon hug me gently. "It'll be fine, and if something goes wrong I'm at the hotel closest t to the studio, you can come talk to me if you need to."
"Thank you, Bon." I said, hugging him back.
I pulled away after a few seconds. We continued our walk to the studio, until Bon decided that he had walked me close enough to the studio. "Alright, you're on your own now. Don't fuck up." Bon said, before walking down the street. "Thanks, I'll try not to." I shout, rolling my eyes.
I reached the studio in a matter of seconds, and chose to stay close to the shadows. I looked down at my watch to see that it was now 10:05pm. The wind picked up, and I shivered, cursing myself for forgetting a jacket. "Here have mine." I heard a familiar voice say. I felt the material of the jacket cover my shoulders, warming me up immediately.
