I felt anger and hurt course through me at the same time, leaving me numb but yet I felt as if he had slapped me in the face. "Do I not mean anything to you?" I asked, my voice emotionless.

"It-it's not you don't mean anything, it's just that.." He trailed off as if he couldn't think of a good excuse.

"It's just that I was a fling? Nothing but a string along?" I questioned, angry now. The numbness was replaced by a roaring fire of rage and I welcomed the feeling as it run through my veins.

"Of course not!" Angus shouted, suddenly standing up and glaring down at me.

I sprang to my feet and glared at him. "Then what is it Angus?" I yelled through clenched teeth.

He stared at me with a look that clearly said he was at a loss for words. I stared back at him and felt the anger simmer and die away when looking into his eyes, all the fire left behind was the cold numbing emptiness that made me sick to my stomach and tears pool into my eyes. Angus' eyes widened in worry when he saw the tears and reached for me but I backed away from him as if I was a wounded dog. I ran from him and shot into the house shaking. Only a few days ago I came running into here laughing, but now when Malcolm saw me I looked at him blankly.

"What happened?" Malcolm asked in a rush, putting his hands on my shoulders.

"A-angus." I managed to say.

"What'd he do?"

"I don't really wanna talk about right now. Do you know where Bon is?" I ask him.

"In his room. Lorna, do you want me to talk to Angus for you?" Malcolm said, looking concerned. Yet I could see pain in his eyes.

"No, but Malcolm are you okay?"

"Ivy found the guy she loves today, it's a guy named Luke." Malcolm said quietly.

"You and Ivy weren't together were you?"

"No, no of course not. I'm happy that she found Luke." Malcolm replied, although it looked like he had to force himself to say it.

I nodded my head and retreated up the stairs, uttering a 'goodnight' to Malcolm before I reached the top of the stairs. I found Bon's room and knocked on it lightly, I heard footsteps approach the door before the doorknob turned and the door swung open to reveal Bon standing behind it, his hair ruffled from sleep and his face went from looking groggy from sleep to worry in a split second after looking at me. He opened his arms and I clung to him tightly, not even noticing that I had begun to sob into his chest. Bon held me tightly and shut the door before walking me over to the bed and sat down with me in his lap.

"What in the world happened to you?" Bon asked in a scared tone.

My breathing was harsh and ragged. "I wa-was with A-angus and..." I couldn't continue.

Bon hugged me tightly. "It's okay you don't have to tell me everything if you don't want to."

I shook my head and took a deep breath. "I came to you and not to Gaylord or Ivy because they would've flipped their shit and I needed someone to talk to. I was with Angus out in the backyard and in a matter of words I was only a fling to him Bon! I didn't mean anything." I said in a rush, a sob escaping me causing my body to shake from the force of it.

"B-but he was crazy about you!" Bon almost whispered to himself.

"Maybe about someone else but not me. Bon, I was falling for him too! I can't help but still feel these emotions for him and yet he feels not a fucking thing for me! To think I believed him when he said he cared for me, all of it was nothing." I angrily said. A stabbing pain in my chest serving as only a reminder that this was real and not a dream.

Bon took me off his lap and sat me on the bed. He got up and put on his shoes.

"Come on then, let's go to the bar and help you forget." Bon said, holding out his hand to me.

"Okay." I said, taking his hand and got off the bed.

Bon led me out of the house and towards the closet bar.
