Willa ran up to her room tears streaming down her face. She ran into the bathroom and locked the door. She needed to be alone. She sat on the closed toilet seat, and kicked off her heels while sobbing. What was she supposed to do? It was so hard to be together but this pain was worse. Her thoughts spun around head. She loved him, at least she thought she did. But if she really loved him, would she of let go of the relationship? Would it have been so easy to let go? Who was she kidding, this was anything but easy. But what was she supposed to do, hold on to this till it broke her heart? She sat up, and looked in the mirror. Her makeup was running down her face and her eyes were puffy. She splashed some cool water on her face, trying to calm down, then she remembered the look in Philby's eyes and the way he walked away without looking back and she started to cry again. She left the bathroom, crawled into bed fully dressed and cried herself to sleep.

Willa woke up to the sun in her eyes. She blinked, her whole head hurt from crying so much last night. She knew she probably looked like a disaster, she got up and turned on the shower. After her shower she dressed and went out to the room, Elisa was awake and looking concerned.

" What's going on? I came in last night and you were already in bed, and Kayla from next door said she thought she heard crying? " Elisa asked.

Willa sighed, and sat cross legged on her bed. The shower had helped clear her head and she felt significantly calmer than she had last night.

"Philby and I broke up." She admitted.
"Oh no, Willa, what happened?"

" Nothing. Everything." Willa said frustrated. "We just couldn't make it work, and it hurt to much for me to keep trying."

"Sometimes holding on is more harmful than letting go," she said sympathetically

"I don't what I was expecting, I broke it off with him, I thought about it logically and yet, I feel so hurt."

"Breakups are never easy," Elisa said.

"I wouldn't know, this was my first real relationship" she said.

"How did he take it?" Elisa asked hesitantly

"Horribly." Willa said flatly

Elisa nodded, she expected as much. Mike had told her that Philby had come in at around ten last night taken all of his bags and left the room without saying anything more than a brief goodbye.

"It will get better, as every day passes, the pain will grow less and you'll be able to move on. Just trust me."

Willa gave a small smile, she appreciated Elisa's words, even if she didn't know what to think anymore.
