I'm Coming Home

Chapter 9:The Trespassing

(Danny's POV)

We all quickly stood up in our place and watched quietly.

"C-come in." Jayden choked out.

I could feel the vibe tense up from behind the door, we were all startled at the sudden knock.

The door opens slowly and out peers Jayden's mother. It was odd because I was feeling something. She comes in with a nervous smile, something else I knew was behind that door. Something eerie.

"Please. Don't be rude to the nice young men who would like to ask some questions to Saffe and Jayden. May you two ladies come downstairs in the living room with us." Jayden's mother named Nana, asked.

Jayden and Saffe stood up but I quickly stopped them.

"May I ask who these 'young men' might be?" I spit back.

I knew it was rude but I couldn't just let them go. I didn't know who these 'young men' are so I can't trust them.
"Even if Jayden knows how to fight, I won't allow her to go into sparring other then me. Even if she did in self defense, I have to be there to protect them. No matter if  you is' there or not, I don't just hand over people like that." My words sounding like venom as the harsh words seep threw my teeth.

Nana was baffled by my actions and put on a face of disgust.

"I'm sorry, but Jayden's my daughter. You don't own girls like there properties." Nana retorted clenching her teeth as she spoke.

"I respect the girls better than you, if Jayden or even Saffe is going somewhere with 'young men' I don't know. Then I'm coming with-" I was cut of by the door flinging open and banging the wall. A young man comes in and puts a hand on my shoulder. I tried stepping back but he kept me in place.

"It's nice how you willingly give your life away, but this is a talk between us and the ladies. If you don't mind please step back sir." He said standing 6feet tall and muscling.

"Yes s-s-sir." I replied frighten to death and stuttering at almost every word.

The man nodded and walked away as the two girls follow. I saw the door close and it fell silent. May didn't bother to jump in and at least help me with this situation. She seems like she doesn't care. So I turn to her direction and she's sitting on the bed looking down at the floor traumatized.

"Did you not care at all!" I raised my voice as I talk.

She stays quiet. Everything falls silent, you can hear a pencil drop with an echo followed by it. I got up and walk to the door.

When I placed my hand on the knob May screamed "Stop!"

"What's stopping me-" before I could turn and face May she took my arm and kicks the back of my knee, lacking my balance and falling back.

"You can't fight something with one hand, it's the same as fighting two buff men. Heck there might be more that we don't know about. Didn't you see the uniforms they were wearing, they might be better in hand to hand combat then you!" She yelled to the point where the people down stairs could hear.

I fell silent. I didn't know what else to say since she had a good point. I didn't know who they were so I don't know what they are capable of. They could rip me to shreds if I piss off one of the guys. The worst case scenario is me getting into a fight with May, or even one of the men from downstairs.

All I could do was lay on the floor with my hands under my head, staring at the ceiling. May joins in right next to me with her hands on her tummy.

We could hear a bit from downstairs, but we couldn't make up on what they were saying. We waited patiently and anxiously for them. The time went by fast and I can hear a sudden bang from an object.

"Get out!" We hear Nana screaming.

We rushed up quickly and looked at the door. Getting up with a sudden of nervousness in our fingertips, May stopped in her foot prints. We quickly waited for the next move.

All we could hear is short breaths and laughter coming from them. I turned and looked at May confusingly wondering what could they be talking about.

AN: It's a short chapter(almost all my chapters are short). I try to make them long but I can't seem to. I don't want to spoil to much, but I guess I have to at some point. But when the story comes to a close end the chapters will be longer. But I have to work on the length of the chapters since it's not enough. But for now, I'll work with what I have. I'll try my best next time on the next chapter, so goodbye!!! For now.
