Chapter 29:Can't I Meet Her?

(Jayden's POV)

I look over at the two people I sit next to. The red dyed boy and the short cut hair girl. Eating their subway sandwich outside the restaurant.

"It's been long since we hanged out like this." Danny says as he stands up to throw away his trash.

"It would be better if Saffe was here." May said passing her lunch over to me.

I roll my eyes and pick up after her and I. Danny stands next to my me side by side and looks down on me. Over the summer he was around the same hight as me. Now he looks more than 4 inches taller than me. May has grown a little, but I don't know much about Saffe. But taller than me maybe. It always been shorter than everyone else. I slap Danny with the back of my hand and pout. He holds his stomach and laughs painfully. I sinker and look away. I start walking over to my the neighborhood.

"Which house we going to." I say walking backwards from them.

They look at each other and then May points over at Danny. He gives her a glare and speed walks over to his house. We make turns and race and by the time we got there, we were all sweaty.

"Have you just ran the marathon or what?" Berry says laughing.

We giggle and laugh at how tired we were. Taking heavy breaths Berry walks out of the room and to his. Danny takes our hands and pull us up to his room. He sits May on the ground and Danny and I on his bed.

"Tell us." Danny states.

May and I look at him confused. He glances at both of us and rolls his eyes.

"I mean what have you and that chick have been up to, geez sometimes you make me pull out my own hair." He says scratching his head.

I let out a look that makes me want to pull out my own. I cross my legs and turn to an angle where I'm facing both of them. I look at May waiting for what she has to say.

"Nosy . . . " she mutters under her breath.

I groan and stare daggers into May to make her talk. She avoids our eyes and looks back at us when she's ready.

"We haven't done mu-"

"WHAT?!" Danny screams and covers his mouth. Berry opens the door and shhs him. He whispers "sorry" and Berry closes the door. I slap Danny's arm and look at May.

"Owie and, what do you mean you haven't done much? Your young aren't you?" Danny asked.

"At the moment I'm not that dirty. And I won't do anything anytime soon either." She says getting up and digs into her backpack.

She takes out a large book and throughout it on Danny's lap.

"The only think your good at is science, can you help me with it." She says as she pulls Danny to the floor.

He lets out an annoyed sigh. Clearly he wanted to know more about Melissa and her. But well ask later. I get my stuff and study math. Saffe would teach us English and sometimes Spanish. It's odd how whenever we study, it doesn't feel the same. We would usually do it alone or just through the phone.

"Okay really, how's this girl 'Melissa' like?" Danny asks once again.

May sighs and looks badly at Danny.

"She's fine." She says strictly.

I look at the back and fourth conversation. Danny spits questions like crazy and May answers them annoyingly. Spitting words that sound like venom and fire, they debate weather or not she's good enough. Meeting someone randomly and asking them out suddenly. I tilt my head to that thought, however I didn't listen much.

"Why do you want to know so badly about her?" May asked.

"We're just worried is all May. But we'll stop asking if you don't like it." I say meaning it to sound as a joke.

May looked at me like I was serious. Seems like I can't say just kidding . . .

AN:Again, Late!! Sorry. But it will continue for a while, I'll write more in the story since I have time!! I'll try for the next chapter to go up earlier, and write more for the next chapters as well.
