(Saffe's POV)
Roman, Kiel, and Serg all came by the very next day of the fight. Jayden and I kept a far distance, with two arms of reach. Roman looked at us weirdly, since we would usually be sitting closer. He started asking questions but there would be a long pause before Jayden or I say something about it.
"You ladies not participating, 2 points off. Can I ask why you kids are so quiet today?" Rome asked.
"You didn't hear?" Serg laughing with bitter meaning.
It didn't seem like any of them knew what was going on, however Serg?! It's odd how he would know. Or is it Nana keeping him to date with our lives? How convenient.
"Didn't hear what?" Kiel said getting curious.
Serg leaned over to the group. The two men were getting flustered with what they were about to hear. However he only leaned into his group. He whispered, but the words were distinct. I couldn't hear what they were saying, and I'm sure Jayden didn't hear as well. I could see there facial expressions however they never show any. All they ever showed was disappointment and a frown.
"How could-" Roman said stopping his own sentence.
He looked to us and frowned. Pressing his fingers with the bridge of his nose. He seemed stressed out and frustrated. No emotion changed his face. I looked over at Jayden and she's looking down. Guilt was pressed upon her vibe. Kiel sighs,
"Ya know, we're not going to be able to find something if both of you guys are not involved. The lost between your dads can't wait since we only have a matter of time to-"
"Time? No one said anything about time!" Jayden said cutting his words of.
How surprised she was. With fear in her eyes this was something she couldn't let go.
"What's the point. I don't even know my own dad. Why should we look for them anyways." She said coldly making herself seem smaller.
"It will get harder as well. We found out that he's not registered for anything. However we can't just give up now." Serg says pulling out papers.
The room went silent. Jayden and I looked over papers with "No History Found" on it. Even if we did found something it was already something we knew. But we didn't find much.
"No figure prints, no registration, not even a citizen here, and they left with leaving everything behind. It's best if we just stop this all . . ." I say fixing the papers.
"Your not the only people who lost their family members. There are multiple cases with the same situation. They erase the whole past of them ever existing. Someone's behind everything, and they might be to." Roman explained.
My eyes widen at the fear. Someone out there is behind everything. Erased there past, present, and maybe there future. I turn to Jayden, shaking with fear and anger. I slid toward her and put my arms around her shoulders. Right now I didn't feel like I was mad at her. Being mad wouldn't help anything.
I felt tears dropping down my shoulder and she hugged back tightly. It was a come and go situation, and the fact that there was time involved. The problem is, that we didn't know how much longer.
"It's hard already on the girls, I don't think that we can find them within the time limit. However-"
"No Kiel, we can't." Roman said strictly stopping Kiel's words.
The room fell silent. They were keeping something but they couldn't say. Roman looked down again in frustration. However he somehow was always able to keep a calm face.
He walks up and says goodbye. Walks out the door and the younger males follows.
I couldn't bare what people do. Someone out there was trying to plan something. However there was a possibility where they were involved to. I press my palm against my forehead. I felt arms around my waist and warmth.
"Sorry . . ." Jayden said.
