(Oma's POV)
After that, we walk outside Jayden's backyard and lay down on the grass. We look up back at the stars and it immediately reminded me of the time at Aunt Casy's house. The time when Saffe talked about the stars. I looked down at the grass where it danced in the warm winds. The black dark sky, filled with stars reflecting on the glass window. How bright it is tonight.
I look over at the friends, as quiet and very little conversation was there between us.
"Oma . . . can you image how we will be like when we get older?" Jayden states.
Feeling my heart beat faster, my blood boil hotter. Hearing my name suddenly made my head ache. I turned away and hummed. I can feel the cold breeze against my skin. Trying to calm myself down. I lay down and put my hands under my head.
"Summers almost over." Saffe laughs and plops down on the grass. "We're going to different high schools, aren't we?"
"May and I are going to the same high school. Well visit you guys since we live near by." Jayden claims.
Only three weeks left and I'm wasting it. Not wanting to hang out with them, even though I'm not going to see them for a while. The worst friend I could be.

(Jayden's POV)
Laying down on the grass, I moved to my side to face May. She had her eyes closed and was sleeping soundly. I moved closer and looked back at the sky.
"We should get inside, it's starting to get cold." Danny says.
I sit up and watch over May. I move and shake her to wake. All she did was move to the side away from me.
"Wake up we have to-"
"I got you the first time." She cut off my sentence mid way, grabbed my wrist and looked dead straight into my eyes.
"Just kidding." She smiles and pulls me to my feet.
My heart was beating faster than what I expected. My skin was tingling and warm. I was pulled inside the house and snapped back to reality by Danny calling my name.
"You okay?" He asked.
I nodded and looked away from my embarrassed self. I plop down on my couch and stare off into the TV. Saffe switching through the channels, when she stopped on her favorite show. But it was close to the end of it, there was no point in watching it. So we went on Netflix and watched movies and of course, Saffe's favorite show.
We ended up sleeping in the living room instead. My mom brought down Futons for us and a heater since its getting close to Autumn. The nights started to get colder, but it was still warm.
~~~~~~
Waking up to the water tap going off, I stood up and walked to the kitchen. I see Saffe with a glass of water in her hand. I rub my eyes and try to clear my vision.
"You startled me." I say.
"So-rry." She apologized.
