(Oma's POV)
We would hear them laugh and scream loudly in a good way. I would hold back Danny from going downstairs and getting into a fight.
"That's it. I can't take it anymore, I'm going downstairs to take a look." Danny stated clenching his fist and walked up to the door.
I grab his arm and shake my head. He pulls my hand away and walks out the door. The only thing I could do was follow.
~~~
Downstairs were multiple men in uniforms. Some were wearing suits and ties, others were wearing a green camouflage uniform from the army. I look over at Danny and he looks lifeless. He looks scared. The men turn and look at us.
"Anyways, we should get back. I'm sorry to bother you ladies and . . . gentlemen." Looking straight at Danny as one of the man explained and nodded in resect.
"Already. Please come back another time if you could. We enjoyed the company, and the talk." Nana said in a flirting matter.
"Mom!" Jayden asked surprised.
The men nodded once again and left. Before the men walked off, one of them stayed behind a bit. He leaned into Jayden and whispered something secretly in her ear. Her eyes widen in disbelief. He than left with a smile. However Jayden looked relived.
But when I look back at Danny, he looked mad and red in the face. We all laugh at the situation of Danny's actions. Sadly Saffe and Danny had to leave.
Later That Day
~~~~~~~~~Jayden didn't end up going to practice today. Since the situation of the men came to visit them. I tried asking why, but she would just push away the question.
"Why won't you tell me?! Aren't we best friends? Don't you trust me?!" I raise my voice with it cracking, banging my hand on the small table as I spoke.
I look straight at her golden brown eyes waiting for an answer.
"It doesn't matter. Your not involved in anything of what happened. You have no right to say such things . . . and it's not that I don't trust you. It's a matter between me and Saffe. Not me, Saffe, and the friends." She retorted with harsh words.
I didn't accept whatever she said. It came into one ear and straight out the other. But with a girl like Jayden, she won't give up. I can't force her, and I shouldn't. But there was one thing I could do to spill the beans. But . . . she'd kill me now that she knows how to fight. So, I just back off. For now.
"Fine then. Don't tell me, but don't come crying to me about anything no matter what it is." I say avoiding her eyes not wanting to see her reaction.
"Fine. Then you can leave!" She spit like venom in my ears.
~~~~~~
(Jayden's POV)
At that time I was already mad and annoyed by her. I don't hate her, but she's sometimes to noisy. So I thought that I would teach her a little lesson.
She look straight into my eyes with her already faded green eyes of fear. The fear of losing me.
"F-fine. T-than I-I-I will leave!" She screams and trails off to the door and slams it shut.
I didn't want her to be upset, but sometimes she could be a bother. She has to learn that things won't go her way sometimes. I pulled away myself from my thoughts and look back at the little library I had. I choose a poetic book and read it. Although I read it many times, it's books that I know I'll never get bored of.
But still my mind never reached the clouds. I grabbed my phone and decided to text Saffe about what happened.
~~~~~~~~~
Jayden:
Saffe, are you free. Can I talk to you if you are?Saffe:
Sure, what's up?Jayden:
May and I got into a fight about the conversation we had with the people.Saffe:
Let it go. She needs to learn. Anyways, it's getting late. We'll talk tomorrow at practice.~~~~~~~~
I wonder if May will come to see us at practice? I highly doubt that. She doesn't seem like the person to "come back" unless the other person apologize. I so happen to be that "other person". But it's me, I'm sure she would be the one to apologize. I was never at fault, and it's all hers for getting me mad. Maybe . . .
I turn off my phone and get ready for bed with a shower and brushing my teeth. I crawl in bed and feel lonelier then before.
