(Narrators POV)

She looks down in disbelief. Missing someone coming home as she waits by the door. The door in which her father promised to come back.

"Saffe, darling he's coming back. Didn't he promise he will come back when he's finished?" Mamma Natasha said to Saffe.

She looks over at her mom and back at the door. She leans over waiting patiently for him to come back. She hasn't lost all her hope yet, but it's disappearing day by day.

"Saffe, lunch is ready." Natasha says as she puts plates and cups out.

"Why did you put out three?" She asked tilting her head to one side.

Mom gives her a look and brushes it off. "Remember your older brother Micky?" She says shaking her head.

Saffe nodded her head. She knew that she had an older brother, much more older brother. They were 8 years apart and he recently moved out near his collage. However they didn't get along very much.

Hearing the door knock, Saffe bothered to open it. She sees a tan tall man with black curly hair stand by the door. Her brother Micky, smiled and looked down on her younger sister. He pat her head and walked in. Saffe fallows from behind and Micky greets mom with a hug.

He looks back at Saffe and sticks his tongue out at her. Mama Natasha slapped Micky's stomach and he groaned.

"Play nice with your sister." Natasha said.

Natasha finished with placing out the food on the plates and drinks in each cup.

"Hey Saffe, you okay. You spaced out there."

She snaps out of her deep thinking about the past. She reverts back to where she was in the begging.

"I'm okay . . ." She says quietly and looks back out on the window.

She sighs, missing home already. Moving so suddenly didn't feel nice. Having to leave her close friends seemed hard. Of course she made new ones but, it didn't feel the same to her. Stretching her head from side to side and popping her knuckles. She looks away from her friends and at a boy. A boy she's been admiring for a while.

"Ask for his number?" One of the girls say, leaning in.

Saffe blushes deeply.

"I can't, I couldn't. Plus, I'm not interested much into him. It wouldn't last if we did." She says shaking her head.

"Is it that Danny guy you text. Or is it Jayden the other dude, he sounds cute."

"Jayden's a girl." She says showing a picture of her and Jayden at the beach. They wow in amusement and apologize.

The bell rings and the hurry back to their seats. Glancing at the boy she looks down at her papers and sighs.

After that, her school life from there seemed lonely. Thinking about when to visit her ones and only. She planed ahead on her trips which are vocations. Considering moving back to the old home.

AN:Part of Saffe's life! I tried not to hurry in this one, but there will be more of it. It sounds like I went to fast but the story will get better. I don't know when, but it will.
This story also seem short, it was hard to think about what to write, since I didn't plan much.

But anyways, Thanks for reading!
