Chapter 13 -I Missed You

Liam's POV

I clung to Zayn non-stop for about a week. I'd always apologize, but he'd always tell me he didn't mind.

One day, about a week after his therapy ended, I was with Zayn. We were at my place and alone. I kept my arms wrapped around him. "I missed you so much. I love you so much." I said, even though he was asleep. I kissed his forehead. During therapy, he had to stay at the hospital, so I didn't get to see him as much as I wanted to. I had wrote a song while he was in the hospital. I sung a bit of it while he was sleeping.

I didn't know what I was singing it for, but I just really wanted to.

"Baby, that was beautiful." I heard a dazed voice say. I felt my face flush in the darkness.

"I'm sorry to wake you, babe. You weren't even supposed to hear it. I'm sorry." I said, holding my face in my hands.

"Babe, it's fine. Did you write that?"

"While you were in therapy, yeah. I know it's crappy."

"Babe," Zayn said, taking my hands in his and sitting up, "I think it's perfect, just like you."

"Stop it. I'm nowhere near perfect, and we both know it."

"You're perfect to me. You always have been, and you are, and you always will be."

"You liar." I said quietly. "You cute little liar!"

"I'm not lying."

"I'm nowhere near perfect."

"I'm not arguing about this! All that matters is that I know you're perfect." Zayn said, lying back down and nuzzling his face into my chest after looking up and saying, "I love you."

"I love you too, babe." I kissed the top of his head and lied down. I put my arms around him, never wanting to let him go.

Losing him scared me like crazy. I never wanted to lose him. I didn't know what I'd do without him. He was absolutely everything to me. He still is.

"Babe, will you sing the rest of that song?" Zayn's muffled voice came out of my chest.

"Sure, babe. Anything for you." I started singing again. "Close the door
