We arrive at what looks like a freaking mansion. Like he needs the job for the money.
"Nice house..." I say, all breathy and amazed.
"Thanks....it's actually my great great great grandfathers house.
"Wow, it looks really modern for being that long ago..."
"I remodeled it...myself." Gracie looked at me and raised her eyebrows. He opened the door for us. Oh. We are going in? I probably should be wearing million dollar clothes walking into this house. We made it up to his doorstep and he opened the double doors.
"Welcome to oz." he said, dully. We stepped inside. Chandeliers, glass coffee tables, 3 floors? Wow. We sat on a tan couch.
"Pretty big house for a man who lives by himself, I could really use some company..." He said, a deep voice, and a look towards me that made my face flush. He walked into what I assumed was his bedroom.
"Oh my god. He's a millionaire!" Gracie gaped.
"Might be..."
"He's so freaking hot...I can't believe it..."
"Gracie...please come on, your not usually this much of a pig." She nodded.
"I know, it's not like I'd have a chance anyway...he looks at you like your some kind of thanksgiving dinner..." I roll my eyes.
"Don't pretend like you don't see it..."
"I do, but...it's complicated I think..."
"Well, stop! Give him what he wants." Footsteps come our way. There Ryan stands, buttoning up the last four buttons on his white button down. Showing off his body. His tan pecks, and six pack. He licks the inside of his lip as he does it. I look away, trying not to let him see me bite my lip. Why is this happening? What is he doing to Me?
"I wanted to tell you both, you look amazing..."
"This dress? Please, I would clean the house in this..." I say.
"I like it..." He said. Putting on a black leather jacket.
"Ready?" We stand up and he opens the door for us. The warm spring air hits us and takes my breath away. I felt so safe at the moment.
"You like what you see?" Ryan said in my ear. I smiled innocently, Once again taking I as a joke. Gracie didn't hear that...
"I guess you like jokes."
"True, but they aren't jokes..."
