"Ryan..." I said. Halting as soon as I walked in. He was sitting at his desk typing.
"Hey Amber..." He said getting up. He straightened his tie and cleared his throat.
"What's going on?"
"I have something to talk to you about..."
"Alright...what is it?"
"Can we sit?"
"We just got up but..." We laughed and sat down. I wonder what he's thinking.
"I have an idea..."
"Hit me."
"How about, we find you a therapist? The best of the best. Somebody to help you with this...problem."
"A therapist? You want me to get help? I thought you hated me." He said.
"No, I...I thought I did but, now I understand things a little better."
"Well, i dont know how that's going to work, but if it gives me a chance to see you then...I'm up for it." I smiled.
"Good. There's a place in Tennessee-"
"Tennessee? Amber, that's a long ways away..."
"He's rated 10/10 stars, he's really good and rarely fails to cure his patients..." He looked at me, in a sad way.
"That's...a long ways away." He said again.
"It is...but-if you want to get this fixed and maybe have another relationship, with somebody or-"
"You?"
"There's a chance, but Ryan...I'm with Taylor now." He clenched his fists.
"I. Know." I looked down.
"How about we call him and set it up?"
"Anything. I'll do anything. I'm up for it. Let's-lets do this."

I set up Ryan's date. He was to leave in 3 days and come back next year in November. Which was almost 2 years." I had to tell him. So, I got up and walked back to his office. I walked in, still holding his business card.
"Ryan. You leave in 3 days. You come back November 30th." His mouth gaped.
"That's a whole year." He whispered.
"It is, but there's a 99% chance that you will come back better..." He nodded his head. Thanking me and I escorted myself out. Before closing the door, I hugged him. Tightly. He pulled away barely looking at me and closed the door. I went back to my office and called Taylor. He picked up after 2 rings.
"Is everything ok?"
"Yes. Did you call off everything?"
"I did. It's like he never existed. What did you say to him?"
"He's leaving for Tennessee in 3 days. He won't back back for almost 2 years."
"Wow...um, that's a lot..."
"I think everything's going to go fine."
