Ryan just nodded his head.
"I'm sorry..." I whispered. This was really awkward.
"Don't get me wrong, I would love to...you know...get together, but I can't..."
"I completely understand...I'm sorry..."
He held his hand out.
"Hi I'm Ryan steer...at your service." I laughed. We're staring over?
"I'm Amber Lantis, ready for your service." We both laughed and shook hands.

We finished our drinks and after about an hour, I was almost sober, Gracie on the other hand, managed to get 3 different guys's numbers and was completely drunk.
"I'm ready to leave!" She said, in a squeaky voice. She leaned up against me.
"Gracie, come on get up, we're going to the car..." No answer. Wow. She's passed out. Ryan helped me grab her and we carried her into the car. We laid her in the backseat, strapping her in so she didn't roll onto the floor. I sat in the front seat next to Ryan. He started the car, an we headed to Xell.
"About earlier, I'm really sorry I made you uncomfortable, I just...I feel like I'm ready to be in another relationship, I feel attracted to you..." He said, smiling. He looked really young. Being all shy and innocent.
"No no no, I get it...it's hard and I dont think I'm ready..."
"I get it..."
"I enjoy the hints and small Side comments but, it's just not professional." It was just weird, only knowing this man for a couple days, having him work at the same place and already hitting on me? Well, now I know he has feelings.
"I...I know I like you to Ryan." Already...I liked him already. He was so sweet. So, attractive and funny. He looked at me, and had a cocky grin.
"I knew it..." We both laughed and he kept driving.

We made it there and he helped me drag Gracie into my car...she laid "dead" in the passenger seat and I turned to face Ryan. He was really close...I could smell the leftover sweeteners on his breath.
"Until Monday..." He said.
"Until then...thanks for everything tonight. You are so sweet." I smiled. I hesitated, but gave him a peck on the cheek. I got in my car and headed home.
