Show me how to fight for now

And I'll tell you baby, it was easy

Comin' back to you once I figured it out,

You were right here all along

"Oh my gosh what are you even doing here!" I exclaimed hugging my favorite of Alec's friends.

Mackel "Spidey" Avery was the sweetest guy alive. He was like a second brother to me when we were kids. He introduced Alec and I once we grew up and I was planning on making him AJ's godfather but we lost touch once I cut everyone off from this part of my life.

He laughed as he hugged me back. "Well if you must know Sissy your baby daddy and I co-own this little firm here." He gestured around the office. He was even broader than I remember but he was always the big man in the room. He was the number one jock in school. Also the most popular, the most liked, and the smartest. Well obviously next to Alec. They were always neck in neck when it came to that shit and ended up co-captains on every team they tried out for. "But a better question is what are you doing here my dear?"

I chuckled. "Well if you must know I work here my darling. I am supposedly the most intelligent person currently in the law firm."

He grinned, "Oh yes. Little miss genius Alicia. Always were Einstein's little spawn weren't you?"

I had to laugh out loud. And I have him another hug. "You know AJ still needs his godfather." I smiled up at him.

His eyes lit up in excitement and he nodded enthusiastically.

"I'd love to be his godfather! As long as Gena isn't his godmother. God I hate her."

I had to laugh at this. "You still hate her?! It's been almost ten years since middle school! Get over it!"

"No! I will never get over when she ripped my pants and poured paint down my extra shorts! That asshole!"

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. Still living in the 7th grade are we Mack?" a voice smooth as silk said. Gena "Crazies" Bloodfire (yes that's her name) was a true beauty. Long blonde hair pulled into a slick ponytail and big blue eyes as bright as the sun. She was also tall and slender at 5'8. But damn was she a spitfire. She would spit venom at the Devil himself given the chance.

"Yes. You crazy bitch" Spidey muttered.

I laughed at the pair. They haven't changed a bit.

"Alicia. It's great to see you." Crazies gave me a tight hug. She was Alec's god sister. Her and I were very close when I became pregnant. She helped a lot during the pregnancy and was even there at the hospital when AJ was born. She was the sweetest and wanted her to be the Godmother.

"I missed you Crazies." I admitted.

I saw her wince. "Oh man. I haven't been called that since high school. I thought that would wear off once I became a lawyer. " she commented.

I laughed. "Oh never. Not after you stapled John McCoy to the bulletin board for slapping your ass."

Oh man was he scared. Crazies stapled the poor guy to the bulletin board outside of home room and he was stuck there until second period when Principal Lorrence got a staple remover from his office.

Spidey laughed. "Oh that was the best! McCoy still has scars from that Gena."

Crazies merely shrugged. That was nothing compared to what she could've done.

I turned to Spidey. "So what DO you need from the boss man anyways that you woke me up? "

"Well actually I -" he began when the door swung open.

Alec stood there and eyed us all. "High school reunion?"
