I came up with a timeline while talking to Derrick and according to the schedule he gave me, he was too busy to steal the weed. He was buried under homework for two weeks and had been pulling double shifts at work for three. Onto top of his busy schedule he was helping Hannah look for apartments and taking care of their son Gregorey.

But now here's the problem, if he didn't steal the weed who did?

I asked him to make a list of people who may have personal or academic grudges against him or Hannah to get back to me.

I threw myself on my office's couch and let out a breath of exhaustion. I was on the phone with Derrick for HOURS. With typing every word he said and reading it over I was pooped.

Now I realize that AJ wasn't back. And I had sent him to be with the person I most detest, in most ways.

His father.

I groaned and made my way into the douche's office. I found AJ running around his office while Alec looked like he was going to pull his hair out.

I wanted to laugh when I saw the candy wrapper on the floor but I held back.

"What's so damn funny?!" Alec hissed.

"Does that candy have red dye number 5?" I asked ignoring him.

He blinked and picked up the wrapper and read it,"Yes."

"Yeah he loses his mind. He's kind of allergic to it and it makes him super hyper and crazy."

Alec groaned, slamming his head on the wall.

"DO YOU LIKE WAFFLES YEAH WE LIKE WAFFLES!"AJ bellowed on his sugar high.

"I'M GONNA CHASE THIS WHISKEY WITH PATRON A WANNA GIRL ON MY LAP WITH A JAGGERBOMB!" He wailed.

Alec raised an accusing brow at me.

"What?! He got into my iPhone!" I defended.

"I don't care right now," Alec brushed it off,"Just make it stop!" He begged.

I rolled my eyes, and huffed. I hated singing but it was the only thing that calms AJ down,

As I sung 'If I Die Young' by The Band Perry AJ's eyes started to droop and he began to sway before he crashed on the couch with a snore.

I shook my head still not understanding how that calmed him so much.

"Forgot how well you could sing." Whispered Alec walking over to AJ. He picked him up gently and rested his little head on his broad shoulder.

"I'm alright." I shrugged nonchalantly. I knew my singing was pretty good but I just used it for AJ to go to sleep.

"You were always amazing. Give yourself some credit."

I just shrugged again and watched as he handled AJ carefully as if he was afraid that he'd break with too much pressure.

I sighed, he really cared for my baby. Well our baby. But I just don't want him to be apart of his life just yet. My pride is too important right now, and I'm too damn stubborn to honestly care.

"You know it's Friday, why don't I take you guys out for a little Chinese take-out? We can eat at my place." Alec suggested.

I was tempted to tell him to shove it but who am I to pass up a free meal? Especially chinese food! I love Chinese food! And he knows that.

"Sure. Why the hell not?" I agreed.

Super short, not really much to say. It was a crappy update and I don't really like it much but I didn't want to just not update. So yeah...blech.
