Where the hell is Alicia?

She was supposed to come into work 2 hours ago. We had a meeting today and she was extremely late. At first I was angry at her non-apperence but now I'm worried. I know how much she wanted this job and the fact that she's not here scares me a little.

After waiting a few more minutes I called Felicity.

"Yeah boss?" she answered.

"Hey City, do you have any idea where Alicia is?"

"Oh damn! I forgot to tell you! She's stuck in the elevator." she said sheepishly.

I groaned, "Really you forgot?"

"Well you try being your damn assistant! You have WAY too much paper work to organize by the way." She babbled.

I sighed, "Yeah yeah yeah, try filling them out."

She huffed on the other line. "Is that all your majesty?"

I smiled at that. "No, but is AJ with her?"

"No, he's safe at home. Techs are working on the elevator and she should be out soon."

"Okay, thanks City."

"Fo show boss!" She exclaimed before hanging up.

I laughed at her odd personality. 

I then called Alicia to check up on her.

"Hello?" answered a male voice.

I looked back at my phone to make sure I had dialed Alicia and not someone else.

"Hello? Who's this?" I demanded. Who the hell just answered Alicia's phone?

"Well my name is Alexios, Alicia's new bestfriend, and who are you?"

"I am Alicia's boss. Where is she?"

"She's passed out sleeping. We've been sitting here for about two and half hours waiting for some tech to HURRY HIS ASS UP!" He suddenly got louder at the end.

"IM WORKING ON IT!" I hear another voice in the background.

"My ass," he muttered. "But anyways, Alicia is safely napping and I will make sure to tell her you called."

"Uh thanks?" My thanks came out sounding like a confused question.

"No problem amigo, and oh by the way if you're going to stay in her life you need to step your game up. Leesha here is just as pig-headed as you are so you guys need a compromise."

I looked at my phone before answering. "Excuse me? Listen you little brat-"

"No you listen," he snapped at me. "I have known Alicia a VERY long time and your ass to get in shape. Its the only way she'll let you have AJ whenever you want. So when you start thinking about THEM and what they went through instead of YOUR change than you shall have ALL the little remidies to get your son."

I was flabbergasted at the fact that this litte....S.O.B said this.

I was even more upset that it was all true.

"Why is everyone more right than I am?" I groaned.

"Maybe we're just smarter." I could hear this jerk's smirk through the phone.

"Just make sure to tell Alicia I called." I snapped.

"Of course my horse." and with that he hung up.

"My horse?" I asked myself

It was maybe about three in the afternoon, halfway through the normal work day, when I heard heals clacking down the hall. I looked up to see Alicia in sweatpants and heals.

I raised a brow at her get-up, "You know sweats aren't permitted in the company dress policy." I stated.

She narrowed her bright blue eyes at me. "Shut the hell up. I was stuck in an elevator for the last 5 hours. Bite me."

I chuckled. "Well from the looks of it you were very comfortable in there."

She sighed. "I was. And getting a few extra hours of sleep wasn't so bad either."

I shook my head. "Well your brother called and said he needed to talk to you about your case. Something about finding someone hating him or some shit."

Alicia quickly nodded and sprinted out of my office. I heard her door slam shut and I sighed groaned.

I hate that I have to be the one to man up and somehow make up for these last 4 years.

Anyways, Im glad that Im uploading a bit faster now :D & BTW thanks to all those nice comments last chapter(: I loved them!
