Before I Go [COMPLETED]

You'll Understand ~ Koichi

As I walk out of school I run into Mitzuko. It looks like she's been waiting for me.

"Hey there", I say.

"Hi", she says as she hugs me,"wanna do something this weekend?"

"Sure what were you thinking?"

"Well I don't know. We could go to a movie, to the park-"

"Stop. I like that one."

"A movie?"

"No the park."

She smiles big. "Ok I guess then I'll see you tomorrow at the park."

"Ok. I'll pick you up!"

...

As I stand outside her house waiting her mother comes out and greets me. We talk for a while but then she says the most surprising thing.

"Koichi do you... Love Mitzuko?"

The question hits me. I can feel my face turning red.

"Yes. I do."

"But do love love her? Like not like her, love her?"

"Yes I've loved Mitzuko ever since the day I met her."

She looks at me with sad eyes.

"Then you'll understand."

"W-what?"

Mitzuko comes running out of the house.

"Ready to go?"

"Yeah", I look at Mitzuko's mom for an answer but she's looking down at the ground,"let's go."
