Dear Diary,
        Today the boy I love told me he hates me.

The first line hit me. She's talking about me.

I still love him but now it's all over just because I couldn't tell him about my stupid-

The words are smeared to where I can't make it out. I'm guessing she was crying when she wrote this.

I want to tell him but I don't because then he still would end up not loving me anyways. I guess this is for the best.

What did she not want to tell me? I continue reading until I realize I'm at school.

I totally passed Mitzuko's house.

I feel bad. I was supposed to pick her up but I was too busy reading about her private life that I shouldn't even be reading about. I'll have to make it up to her later.

We're not doing anything in science so I pull out the diary and begin to read again. Most of the next three years worth of entries are nothing important. Finally I get to the day my parents received the phone call.

Dear Diary,
        Today's the day my parents tell Koichi's family our big secret. Right now they're calling them. I begged until I cried for them not to tell them, but they said they were considered family so we should tell them. They told the rest of my family earlier today, but none of them live close to here so I never saw how they reacted. My parents said they'd only tell Koichi's parents and not Koichi or his brother. I guess that's ok, but I feel bad for keeping this a secret from Koichi, especially when it's gotten this bad.

I knew it! My mom has been keeping something from me.

I continue to read more until someone grabs the book right out of my hands.

It's Haru.

"What's this? Some kind of diary?" He says with a smirk.

"Actually yes it is now give it back."

"Aw does Koichi have a diary?"

"No it's someone else's now please give it back."

I reach for it but I can't reach it. I'm actually a tall kid but Haru is like unnaturally tall.

"Huh Koichi getting into someone else's business."

I lie,"They let me read it."

"Oh really? And who is they?"

"None of your business."

The bell rings.

"Guess you're gonna have to tell me to get it back. I might be interested in whoever's life this is about. I mean it's obviously a girls diary right?" He laughs and takes off running out the room with the diary.
