Before I Go [COMPLETED]

One Last Time ~ Mitzuko

Last night I got the feeling that I won't be here much longer. That I need to finish my life here before it finishes it for me. I set up me and Koichi's first and last date. I have a feeling the will be the last time I see him.

When we get to the park Koichi immediately takes off in a sprint towards the swings. Those have always been his favorite. We chase each other around then sit in the grass and talk with each other. Before I know it, it's time to go.

...

We stand outside my house holding hands. I never want this moment to the end because I know it's our last. I feel like crying but I have to keep myself together.

"Koichi."

"What's wrong Mitzuko?"

I shake my head trying to fight back the tears.

"Mitzuko."

He places his hand on my cheek and kisses me.

"I'll see you tomorrow."

"Goodbye Koichi. I love you."

"I love you too Mitzuko."

He begins to walk back to his house. I take in every last moment of seeing him. Tears fall down my face but I stand tall hoping that if he looks back he won't notice. I love you Koichi Kasai.
