Once Koichi and his family leave I go back up to my room.

I don't feel like playing video games so I guess I'll just write in my diary.

There's no need to panic. I probably just misplaced it.

I look all over our house but I still can't find it.

I had it... Right before Koichi came.

Did he take it? No I would've noticed. Maybe he found it on my bed and put it somewhere else? No Koichi wouldn't dig around in my stuff.

As I walk outside to wait for Koichi I start to get really nervous.

I totally forgot that he kissed me yesterday.

Does that mean he feels my affection back? I thought he loved Hikari? My train of thought stops when I see Koichi's mom walking towards me.

"Hi Mrs. Kasai."

"Hey Mitzuko. What are you still doing here? Shouldn't you be walking to school?"

"I was waiting for Koichi."

"What? Koichi already left. He should have picked you up at least 10 minutes ago."
