I walk to Mitzuko's house to pick her up for school. She's sitting by the tree in front of her house. She looks like she's breathing hard.
"Mitzuko are you ok?"
She looks up and instantly smiles at me.
"Koichi", she says as she stands up and hugs me. "I have something to give you."
She digs in her backpack and pulls out her diary. She looks up at me with sad eyes.
"Koichi I have something in here for you to read."
"What? Really?!?"
"Yes but you can't read it until you know it's time."
"W-what do you mean?"
"I mean you can't read it until you know it's the right time to read it."
"But when will I know?"
"Trust me when it's the right time you'll know."
