Where Are You? ~ Koichi

I wake up to the sound of crying. I run down stairs and see my mother sitting at the table with my father, both are bawling.

"Mom? Dad? What's going on?"

I look at the clock and realize there's ten minutes until schools starts. Mom never woke me up.

I run out of the door half dressed. Mitzuko's not waiting outside for me. I'm guessing I'm too late and she already took off. I barely make it to school as the bell rings.

"Sensei Harada! Sorry I'm late I-"

"No it's ok Koichi I know why. I'm sorry."

What does he mean he knows why?

I look for Mitzuko all day but I never see her. Is she sick? No she would've let me know right?

I'm beginning to get worried. It's probably nothing but you never know. 5 more minutes and school is over.

As soon as the bell rings I sprint out of the classroom and head straight to my car. One problem.

My car isn't there.
